This is a movie that brings the bible to life.We have worn our vhs tape out wathchingit.I am so glad we will have this movie for our future grandchildren to know the story of Moses.A true treasure among the current movies of today.

The story line is just like the bible, the characters are potrayed wonderfully. The quality and the music are impeccable. Wonderful family Movie.

I personally love this movie. It goes into so much details about the bible and I love it! Children can relate to it as well, the sound effects when Moses parted the Red Sea was astounding.

Good music and good story. Animation is smooth, although I find the style less than beautiful (people look more like squares than people).

I like it because it is a DVD By Disney and from the bible. I work with foster kids and it is hard to find the good things in their lifes at time. Adding this Dvd to my collecttion gives them insight on life and God. Two important factor of there lives.

This movie is extremely kid-friendly, but also accurate in description from the Bible. It's one of my personal favorite movies and becoming one of my son's favorites.

This is a wonderful dvd. My daughter adores Disney and all Disney movies.Because of this,it was important for me to find a Biblical movie that entertained her. When I saw that Prince of Egypt was produced by Dreamworks it got my attention. The music and the artistry were beautiful. The story was very close to the account in the Bible and it was really neat to see some Hollywood names involved in the project. My daughter keeps asking to watch the "Moses" movie,even over the Disney movies. A sure winner for any family who wants quality Christian entertainment.

I am rebuying this movie in DVD format now that my kids aren't watching very many VHS tapes anymore. This movie is very well made and tells the story of Moses in great detail. I see this as another means to share Bible stories with them and teach them biblical truths in additon to reading the stories to them. I feel like this movie helps them relate to the characters and brings them to life so that when we do read the actual Bible story, they have a better understanding. I wish there were more well made movies like this covering many more Bible stories. These are who I want their heros to be!

Excellent Movie! There is nothing that I dislike about the movie. I just wish the writers would make more of this type of movie. I prefer my children to watch these movies versus the others. Their little minds are so fragile at this time. Everything about this movie is Awesome!!

Great movie, a good rendition of the classic ten commandment story. The music and the graphics was very amusing.

Prince of Egypt is the tale of Moses' birth until the Israelites cross the red sea. It has incredible animated characters and fantastic music. The songs are heart felt, the story line is fairly accurate and the action keeps you entertained until the end. I strongly recommend making this classic a selection in your home library. Whether for your children or for yourself you will not be disapointed.

I love the prince of egypt myself it was so good and easy to understand unlike other biblical video attempts.the only thing wrong with this new dvd version is that it DID NOT INCLUDE THE MUSIC VIDEO OF MARIAH Carey AND WHITNEY HOUSTIN SINGING WHEN U BELIEVE. O WELL GUESS WELL HAFE TO WAIT FOR A FUTURE PLATINUM RELEASE!

This cartoon is good for family night. It tells the Biblical story of Moses from the moment he was placed in a basket on the river until God gave him the Ten Commandments. A good passover movie. Younger children might need parts explained to them (for instance the passover and the burning bush). There are gome parts that might scare a young child, but it is a very accurate and wonderfully drawn cartoon. The affects are quite amazing. The music is moving, and parts of it will literally bring you to tears. I love this movie. It is a favorite, and will grow to be a christam family classic much like Pasison of the Christ and the Ten Commandments.

When I first received the DVD, I immediately noticed that the cover didn't match the VHS version, and at first was disappointed. But once the children started the DVD, and I noticed all the extra features that come with a DVD, I was greatly satisfied. I am glad I purchased the new version of this bible classic.
