"The Sexiest Man Alive" Or George Clooney & Nicole Kidman VS A Nuclear Terrorist!
Review created: 02/03/08

Pros:
sexy superstars; some thrills
Cons:
predictable; not very engaging; lack of credibility
Hey, I ll watch anything with George Clooney in it. I usually like Nicole Kidman as well, but she s just not as much fun to watch as George is. So I ordered 1997 s The Peacemaker, Dreamworks first offering of thrills, mainly because of the title and George. I invariably find serious action movies predictable and boring, more geared to those with lots of testosterone, and this movie isn t too different. Ladies, he looks great and sounds suave, but you might enjoy Ocean s Eleven through Thirteen a lot more. Kidman playing a brainy nuclear scientist and acting head of the White House Nuclear...

Pros:
Solid action flick. Nicole Kidman is lovely, as always Clooney fails to annoy.
Cons:
Some minor technical diddles. A tad far-fetched.
OK, it's 1997, the Big Russian Bear is dead, or tamed, or asleep or something like that. The US and the new kinder, gentler, Former Soviets are working peacefully together to dismantle the fearsome forces of the Russian Strategic Rocket Forces... or at least reduce them to some level of sanity. Things are looking up...right? Right? Well maybe not. At the beginning of "Peacemaker" our new Russian pals are dismantling a field of their SS-18 Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs). The SS-18 was the most enormous ICBM ever seriously considered for production. It was about 100 feet long,...

How to become a nuclear terrorist

Pros:
great movie for having your own mst3k night with the family, entertaining
Cons:
terrorists kill two farmers in nuclear explosion
Last night my mother and I watched a wholesome family move were George Clooney saves the world from nuclear terrorism by fist fighting with the Nuclear arms dealer in a truckload of nuclear weapons. It is interesting to note that despite all the technology the hero and the villain find some excuse to fist fight in the end. In the movie, which will remain anonymous, terrorists attempted to blow up the UN. (Our government has been trying to do this for years except they get caught in the New York City traffic and end up spending the money used to fund the program in taxi fares in route to the...

Pros:
Terific acting, believable characters, fast-paced plot - all around WONDERFUL movie!
Cons:
none!
"The Peacemaker" is one of my all time favorite movies. I am a HUGE fan of George Clooney's acting (and, I must confess, his looks! No man is sexier than George Clooney!). This movie is about trying to prevent nuclear warheads from getting to their destination. 10 nukes were stolen from a Russian train

Watch Out for the Peacemakers

Pros:
good actionand acting
Cons:
drags here and there
Before I start my review yes the first reason I went to see this was because George Clooney is in it. The second reason was that the impending doom left me wanting to know more. Was I disappointed when I went to see this.No Way!!! A train carrying ten atomic warheads mysteriously crashes in the former Soviet Union. After discovering that all of the men on the train were killed before the crash happened Dr. Julia Kelly (Nicole Kidman) is brought onto the case. Dr. Kelly (Kidman) is a U.S. nuclear specialist. Assigned to help her recover the nine missing warheads is Colonel Thomas Devoe (George.
