The Pacifier (2006, DVD)

Great Movie about a secret agent having to protect and take care of a family of kids. Lots of comedy, great movie.

It's Disney, it's OK family stuff. What you would expect in family viewing. Good guy, bad guy, the hero gets the girl kind of stuff. I like films that you don't have to be ashamed of being watched by any age. It raises some issues on family life if you like to discuss or review your viewing. My wife enjoyed it.

I could tell that this was going to be another one of the movies in which the new substitute teacher or the guidance counsellor or in this case Navy Seal was going to get the proverbial beatdown. Until his charges actually learn to respect him. It is this type of family movie that makes me happy.

This was a really terrific family movie. It has action with alot of humor! Great for kids and adults alike! If you have not seen this movie I suggest you get it. You won't be dissappointed. It was really neat to watch Vin Diesel in this type of plot. He had a wonderful connection with the kids and it showed throughout the movie. And Gary the duck was a unique touch. It's nice and refreshing. This is an A++++ movie.

One of my daughters favorite movies. Good clean fun. The whole family can enjoy the action and humor. A different role for Vin.

I loved the movie. It makes me laugh everytime I watch it. I love the way the kids come to life in this movie. I hope they make a sequil to it.

I loved the movie. Very cute! I personally own it, and that means alot (I mostly don't watch movies more than once) but it is perfect for the whole family!

Vin Diesel plays the part of (Navy Seal) guardian/nanny when the father has been kidnapped and the mother is trying to help the government get him back. The kids don't want a guardian and make life miserable for "the pacifier" but it all comes together with kids loving "the pacifier" and the parents get home too. Funny Asian bad guys and Gary the duck. You'll like this one.

My whole family enjoyed this movie. Where this real tough guy becomes a softy and learns to love this family he is ordered to watch. Recommend.

the movie with Vin Diesel is not one of his normal "the HULK type" movie but a good funny (all ages)movie i give it 4 1/2*'s ..gotta luv that DUCK though !highly recommend ,,,,, Who doesn't like Vin Diesel ,of course as always in movies ,Hey it's a comedy movie a few things are just a little far fetched !LoL look at his other movies , Fast and the Furious/ The Chronicles of Riddick/ Pitch Black

Our daughter requested this movie for Christmas - so, OF COURSE, I checked eBay! It didn't arrive until the day after Christmas but that was okay with her to get a Christmas present the next day! We watched it together as a family and really enjoyed it. There were a few times that it was a bit unbelieveable but we enjoyed the movie - the turncoat at the end was a complete surprise (the first time). The girls call this their "sleepover" movie - all their friends (teenagers) enjoy this movie as well and this movie has probably been watched 10 times between Christmas a the first week of February! Good, clean family movie - no bad language or questionable scenes - the lady principal could have worn more appropriate clothing in the final scenes.

i bough the movie the pacifier a couple of weeks ago and was bery pleased with it. It was brand knew and had no scratches what so ever, we enjoy watching it over and over thanks.

This movie makes me laugh. I am glad that I found it at a reasonable price. I hesitate to buy it at the store because of the price. Thanks

I loved the whole video. It was such a cool mix of action, comedy, romance, the whole bit. Awesome, in short.

This film is a great way for kids and parents to be entertained. We actually saw this movie in the theatre first. I'll sit through the whole movie time and time again just to see the scene where Vin Diesel is walking to the fridge in his towel. That alone, is worth watching the movie!

Well... This may not be the greatest movie... But he is hot... That's bad to say right... "see the movie cause he is hot..." But that would be the only reason why I would recommend this movie... There are so many flaws in the story line, You have to be under 10 years old to enjoy the plot... But again, he is hot. If You like Vin Diesel, Please SEE PITCH BLACK. Now THAT was a movie!

excellent movie about a navy seal who recieves a mission to babysit a group of trouble makers. the family start off by going against the navy seal, but learn quickly that it is better and easier to do things his way. the movie takes you through the two weeks that navy seal is baby sitting. this movie is funny, and family oriented, with a mild touch of violence.

This was a great family movie. I had no problem watching it with my 5 and 7 year olds. They love it and they can still remember how to do the Peter Panda dance!!! It was good clean fun. We recommend it!!!

The action is always moving. It is fun to watch with the Grandkids. They love it too. We loaned our first copy to others and it wasn't returned and we didn't remember who we loaned it to. So we purchased another one. The loaned copy was returned two days later. It's nice to have two copies.

this movie was so funny and had alot of humor in it i almost have to watch them perform every day just to keep laughing i know that it is awesome not any swearing and it is fun to watch no matter what you feel like .

I give it 7 out of 10. At least there was a little charisma to the story and to the characters. It's a decent movie for all ages.

i love the movie itself but the copy i recieved was a very badly burned dvr copy and seller was offended i even said anything to them about it. I guess it is buyer beware on this site i always get the real movies but here recently i have gotten bad copies ....

I love Vin Diesel as an action hero, so when I saw the preview of a buff action hero playing dress up in a bottle fanny pack; I had to see it! It is hilarious! The plot synopsis of a family in an emotional rollercoaster from losing a parent comes full circle when Vin Diesel puts everyone in place! Without being too harsh or dominating, he builds a close bond with the children helping them make a 360 in both their attitudes towards others, and most importantly their attitudes with themselves. If you want an uplifting movie about family that shows there still are families out there that care for one another and enjoy spending time as a family, this is the movie for you....if not...you are missing out!
