The Outsiders (2005, DVD)

This movie is a classic - great story with a lesson to be learned. The cast is outstanding. I've watched this one over and over!

The cast for this movie is unbelieveable and the story is just heart felt! An amazing movie! Diane Lane, Matt Dillion, C Thomas Howl, Patrick Swazey, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Ralph Macchio Emilio Estavez. What can I say just an amazing movie.

The original movie does not compare to the newer version. Our homeschool class read the novel and decided to watch the movie to compare and contrast them. I have seen the original movie and thought it left a lot to be desired compared to the book. So I bought this newer version of the movie and couldn't believe the difference. It actually followed the book. There are a couple of differences but 98% of it is true to the book. So much for being able to do a compare and contrast! The whole class loved this version of the movie.

My daughter recently read the book in school and she loved the story. She kept asking me to buy this movie for her. I saw it awhile back and I loved it too so I want my daughter to see how well the book was made into a movie with all these great actors.

I read the book and watched the classic version of the movie. I love them both. So when i heard there was a special edition dvd I had to get it.

Its a great movie for all ages.

We loved the DVD its a classic. My daughter begged me to buy it and I am glad I did. I am very glad I bought it from the person I did. They got it here very fast. It was brand new and in excellent condition.

My Daughter asked for the movie .I had never heard of it.So didn't know if it was ok for my 13 year old.But my older Daughter said that she had watched it in School so that made me feel better in buying it.And I could only find on
e-bay.

The author of the story is from Tulsa OK and the film was made in Tulsa

Saw a lot of the places in the film when I was growing up.

This was actually purcahsed for my daughter and she has thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a must see and must have movie for her and I am sure one she will cherish for a long time.
