The Miracle Houseplants by Virginie F. & George A. Elbert, Virginie Fowler (1986)

I have always been a plant nut. When I has in high school, I would read every book that I could get my hands to find more information about plants. I had heard of this book a long time ago. I find in on a search on ebay. I decided to buy. It has some nice color photos in the center of the book. It lists some of the gesneriads available for the hobbyists. The book is out of date. Many of the pictures are black and white. Some of the names have been changed in the twenty years since the book was published. There is a cover photo labled Episcia 'Cygnet'. The genus has been changed to Alsobia. I think this is a geat book for the beginner but experts might learn a thing or two. Overall it is worth the price to buy.
