havent started it yet have so many books to go through but am very much looking forward to reading it after hearing about how wonderful it was from a friend

I thought this book was an excellent and realistic portrayal of loss, grief and family units gone awry. It's quite unpredictable in parts and keeps the reader involved and in suspense during certain chapters. For the most part, I enjoyed it and I'd recommend it. There were some very poignant aspects in this book; really makes one think. Some of it hit eerily "close to home".
My only critisism is that it could have been slightly better organized. It jumps back and forth from future to present etc...and can leave the reader rather confused in certain parts. I found myself wondering a couple times if something I'd just read made good sense or not.
Other than that, it's a good read, a fast read and is chocked full of every emotion out there! Happy Reading! :)

I loved this book. The Memory Keepers Daughter was a deeply moving and emotional book that kepe me turning each page from the moment I picked it up utnil I put it down. The author weaves a heart wrenching tale that leaves you breathless and makes you feel as if you know these people intimately. I recommend this book to anyone!

This was a wonderful book. The story was excellent-heartwarming, shocking, infuriating at times-everything a girl wants in a novel! The movie was good, but, as usual, the book was FAR better. I can't wait for Kim Edwards' next novel! If you like Jodi Picoult & Elizabeth Berg, you will certainly enjoy this book.

The description of the novel seemed interesting, and the book had a very interesting story line; however, the only interesting parts were the beginning and end. in fact i skimmed through a lot of the middle.
If you enjoy mother-daughter themes in stories... it's a book for you.
Also, it seemed to almost be Non-Fiction...

What I liked most is the book told me more about the family, than in the movie.
I decided to buy it because, after seeing the movie i just had to read the book. Also, Buying on ebay is safe and most of the seller are very prompt sending the item I buy.
Also, you have a choice of who you what to buy the item off of. And the prices are much cheaper than the store. Even if the item has been used, like the book. I was only reading it and passing it on.

This is a book that is hard to put down! Excellent! It is a real page-turner! I really loved the book!

I bought it because I wanted to read it before I watched the movie on TV.

As my husband has worked with the Special Needs community and our family has been very involved over the years also. It really does take a special parent to fight to get their child the schooling and the services they need to become the most wonderful people they can.

Kim Edwards either has had this experience herself or did some major research to write this book. I didn't get my feedback to the seller as soon as I should have as I could not put the book down once I got it.

I would (and have) recommend this book to everyone I know.

I have looked for this book for sometime when it was first published and couldn't find it. I did see the movie a few weeks ago and had to find the book. The book was excellent....Better than the movie. I read it twice. It's a book that has already started passing from family members to friends for them to read.

The book starts off great, but about midway through it slows down a little too much, not that strong of an ending as I had hoped for. Is all in all a good story however.

This was a very good read; one of those books you just cannot put down.It kept me enthralled for hours on end. To try and fathom what this family was going through, I simply cannot do. Back then, not much was known about certain diseases. Today, we are so much more open minded and acceptable of those that are different than us. We have learned so much.

Exceptional read and I would suggest it to anyone that wants to see how far we have come in our knowledge of things we at one time did not understand.

I seen this movie/book premiere on LifeTime and it peaked my interest. I bought this book not knowing what I was getting into and upon receiving it I couldn't put it down. DEFINITE READER!!!!
