The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2003, DVD)

This second in the trilogy is fantastic from Gollums fish song to the epic battles between orc's and humans and elves you will love this movie. This is a must have for your collection.

The entire movie that everyone knows and loves is still there but many new clips are woven in to try and give a more complete story. The pacing of the movie feels off, the "directors cut" is the one that hit the theaters, this was more of a "fans cut"! Stick with the original dvd, its what everyone will remember 100 years from now but dont be scared to gt this version if you are looking for more out of your lord of the rings experience!!!

Peter Jackson truly brought this book life in this epic movie. Simply one of the best films ever made!!!

It's just a great movie. Doesn't get much better than Lord of the Rings. I bought it because I had the other two movies in the series. I was just missing the middle.

I loved the extended movie version it completes the story and explains many things more closely to the books. I bought this after buying and watching the extended version of Return of The King. I am totally going backwards but have now bought the Extended version of Fellowship of the Ring.

Just like the seller advertised, "Brand new" and to pay $8.00 for a new copy versus $20.00 I was very happy.

The Two Towers is my personal favorite of the 3 LOTR movies. The extended edition extra scenes add so much to the film. The extended version of The Two Towers adds 43 minutes to the theatrical version's 179-minute running time, and there are valuable additions to the film.

The movie picks up where "Fellowship" left off: Merry and Pippin have been captured by Uruk-hai, and Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli are pursuing them. But they are sidetracked by an old friend: Gandalf, returned in a new form and with new powers, as Gandalf the White. He takes them to the kingdom of Rohan, whose king is bewitched by the evil Saruman. They barricade the people of Rohan in the fortress of Helm's Deep, for a final defiant stand against an army of Uruk-hai.

Sam and Frodo have left, to venture into Mordor alone so that Frodo can destroy the Ring in Mordor's Mount Doom. When the two hobbits become lost in Emyn Muil, Frodo realizes that someone is following them: Gollum, the tormented, twisted former owner of the Ring. They capture Gollum, who swears to serve "the master of the Precious." But even Gollum's shaky allegiance isn't enough for them to succeed, because the Ring has started to bend Frodo to its will.

This movie is much darker than the first and the third (almost like an Empire Strikes Back) and is the perfect preparation for The Return of the King.

I just love it, great for the LOTR fans, movies or book! The extra escenes give the movie a whole new feeling and completes it, those escenes are integrated in the movie, you dont have to the menu and see one by one separate, it flows smoothly. Excelent addition for a movie collection.

This is the second movie in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. This DVD set includes 4 discs. It is an awesome film and this extended version is even better than the orginal box office hit. My entire family enjoys this series to the point that my teenager has even begun to read the books. I would recommend this series to anyone.

My daughter watches it over and over again. The making of extras are even better than the movie. We have the extended version of all three movies which makes for a 12 hour long movie.

I purchased The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers because I am a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings. My original set was stolen from a friends house and I didn't want to spend too much money to replace it. I was very happy to find the item on ebay and love it very much. The best part about this purchase is that I was able to replace something very dear to me at an afordable price.

This was a Great movie, it really kept my attention. It had plenty of action, lots of twists and turns, a little light romance and lots of light hearted comedy. This was a fantastic price and quick and inexpensive delivery, a buyers dream combo.

For those of us true fans, this is a must have. It fills in so many blanks that the theatrical version didn't have the time to cover. Grab your popcorn, kick back and enjoy! Characters have incredible depth that is rarely seen in today's movies.
