I purchased this video for my 5 yr. old grandson who loved the original Lion King.
As with many run-offs, this video was poor in comparison. The story is weak & the music sadly lacked the Elton John/Tim Rice expertise. We've watched it once. My grandson still enjoys the original Lion King & loves the adult Simba in it.

Great movie to revisit. The seller was good. It's nice to shop on Ebay for a Disney movie that is currently unavailable from the stores. This was a great price too!

My grandkids really wanted this video and when I found this one at the price I thought it was a great opportunity to get it for them. The postage was very reasonble which is not usually the case with lots of ebay sellers. It was a smooth and easy ebay experience and the movie works great.

My daughter asked to have this movie as a gift for Christmas. We have always enjoyed The Lion King, so I thought that this would be good as well. I can't say it is my favorite of the two. Since it is a children's movie there seems to be quite a bit of "evil" and the language is beyond a young child's vocabulary. The artistry is wonderful and the colors too.

i had recently purchased the other 2 movies to this set and wanted to complete my set. this is a wonderful story of the life of a young lion named simba.in lion king 2,which by the way is actually #3 in the set simba has grown up and taken his fathers place as king of the pride.he is still having to contend with the remains of scar,his evil uncle,who caused simba's fathers' death in #1.simba has a daughter in this movie named naylia. and she going through some "growing up" problems of her own involving scars' son.but everything works out in the end.leaving you waiting for some more good ole disney storytelling. i give this movie(it and the whole set)ten thumbs up and 20 stars!!!!!great story for kids young and old!!!!!!!!
