My grandkids really wanted this video and when I found this one at the price I thought it was a great opportunity to get it for them. The postage was very reasonble which is not usually the case with lots of ebay sellers. It was a smooth and easy ebay experience and the movie works great.

My daughter asked to have this movie as a gift for Christmas. We have always enjoyed The Lion King, so I thought that this would be good as well. I can't say it is my favorite of the two. Since it is a children's movie there seems to be quite a bit of "evil" and the language is beyond a young child's vocabulary. The artistry is wonderful and the colors too.

i had recently purchased the other 2 movies to this set and wanted to complete my set. this is a wonderful story of the life of a young lion named simba.in lion king 2,which by the way is actually #3 in the set simba has grown up and taken his fathers place as king of the pride.he is still having to contend with the remains of scar,his evil uncle,who caused simba's fathers' death in #1.simba has a daughter in this movie named naylia. and she going through some "growing up" problems of her own involving scars' son.but everything works out in the end.leaving you waiting for some more good ole disney storytelling. i give this movie(it and the whole set)ten thumbs up and 20 stars!!!!!great story for kids young and old!!!!!!!!

This video starts off with the usual previews and immediately goes into the story with fast paced action. The music is great and I turn the volume up while my five-year old points out the various animals in the Pride Lands waiting for the appearance of the new cub. There are deer, elephants and zebras along with the lions. Lion King II Simba s Pride is about the journey through the circle of life for these animals. "The Lion King" is one of my all-time favorite video movies, and a real Disney classic. As such, it is a hard to act follow. I bought this movie, having loved the first Lion King, and while I doubted that it would fully live up to the first, hoped that it would carry on some of the good traits of its predecessor. While overall I think that it is about half (if that much) as good as the first, I will be the first to admit that for some reason I'm mesmerized by it and thoroughly enjoy watching this film over and over again. In the continuing tale of Simba, Lion King II doesn't even come close to the original movie. Although my 4 year old liked it (she has a thing for lions), I have a different opinion. First of all, I don't think I can qualify this movie as a "sequel". In the original, there was no mention that Scar (the villain) had his own pride of lions. In the sequel, this pride (led by Zera) is the main focus of the movie. Zera holds a grudge against Simba and his new daughter Kiara and vows to become queen.
