The Lion King (2003, DVD)

As a parent of 3 under 3, I can't recommend this movie any higher than saying it is a must for every family. Believe it or not all the children enjoy this film from identifying the animals, to singing along with Simba, to enjoying the vibrant colors. This is a heartwarming film, with incredible animation and amazing songs. Worth every cent.

when you cant find movies like this in stores as disney locks them up for years before re-releasing them you can find then on E-Bay for a good cost. My kids at 1.5 and 2.5 years of age and the love this movie. I watched it with them and found that they have some good lessions for the kids.

The advertising for the Lion King DVD stated that the DVD was never opened. The facts are, even though I received the DVD very quickly it did not have the Disney wrapping. It was rewrapped and no inserts in the DVD, not even the index of what was on each DVD. This person is no longer on ebay, which is good.

Well, this has to be about one of the greatest movies of all times. It teaches children about love, death and friendship in a way they can understand

I wanted this movie for my son it's such a classic. I received very quickly and movie was in "new condition". Very Pleased

While this must have been an amazing movie when it came out, it is not that impressive compared to other animated movies like "The Incredibles," "Shrek," and "Cars" it is a little disappointing.

Not having children, we miss out alot on the Disney hit movies, so we never knew anything about the Lion King movies when they came out (other than the hit songs by Elton John). We were given tickets to the Lion King play in Atlanta recently & loved it, so we immediately started looking for the original movie DVD so that we could watch it & get an idea of the true plot, not knowing it was out of print! I promptly thought of E-Bay & rushed to purchase the movie (learning only then that there were actually 3 different movies). The Lion King original movie was great, & I'm sure we're the only people in America who had not seen it! For anyone else who hasn't seen it, it's definitely worth watching & acquiring for your collection, like any Disney movie. In this day & time it's always so good for children (or adults for that matter) to view such a movie which teaches lessons learned in life...not always easy or happy, but in the end life's lessons are learned in a positive manner. This one is definitely a "keeper."

I am restocking my movies! I have moved out my VHS and the ones my family love the most I am buying them in DVD, this seller had great prices for the item and the shipping and handling. I enjoyed shopping with this seller and will again in the future.!!!!

I bought the Lion King at the end of March, the product arrived quickly. The movie was in excellent condition and would recommed this seller to anyone.

This is a great movie my grandaughter loves it. The new 2 disk set is great with all kinds of extras and story line

When I first got it at home, I noticed there were a lot of scratches on the disc. After playing it for no more than 5 times for my son, it stopped playing completely. It doesn't read the disk anymore. It was horrible. I do not reccomend buying this DVD.

I love the Disney Classics and I got the movie fairly quickly and it played ok except you couldn't go to anything else in the menu you could only play the movie and you couldn't skip scenes It was a defective dvd. I contacted the seller and they told me I could send the movie back and they could send me a replacement or a full refund I sent the movie back and haven't seen my replacement movie or my refund. Now I get something from ebay saying this seller has been removed and not allowed to sell anything I have to go through them to try to get my money back which is awful. All I wanted was for that classic movie. Be very careful when you are buying a classic movie like this that you can't buy anywhere because it could be fake.

I bought this movie for my grandkids. I use to have one when my kids were little. They all love it and will set still until it is over. They watch it again and again!

The DVD of the Movie did not work. It may be a counterfeit? Also I received a notice of possible fraud from Paypal

A timeless animated story from Disney. I originally bought the VHS version after it came out from the Cinema. After numerous play, the quality naturally became poor. A must have in your DVD collection.

This is a hard to find DVD, and my 3 year old daughter hounded me to get it. After three weeks I relented. I've watched it at least 20 times with her and it's a great story for children. It's one of Disney's best pictures

I have liked The Lion King since its initial release. It was very well done and is a great family movie. I bought the Platinum Edition more than anything to get the movie on DVD but like the extra features that are included. I highly recommend this edition to anyone who loves Disney or just loves this film.

this is one of my favorite disney movies. i started watching it as a kid on VHS. i love watching my kids watch their disney dvds and enjoying them as i did when i was a kid.
