The Legend of Zelda (Collector's Edition) (GameCube)

Loved this. Brings back so many old memories of my ultimate favorite games (except Zelda: A link to the past) but still, this was a great idea and i am thankful for whoever thought of it.

This set of four classic Zelda games spans gaming generations. The first two original Zelda games are dated by today's standards, but are still fun to play. Great look at how far the gaming industry has come in recent years. Ocarina of time is our family's all time favorite game. The graphics, story, and music are awesome. Majora's Mask developed a slight sound problem when transferred to GameCube and there are is an occasional lag in some areas. Nothing to overly concern you since it doesn't affect playability. Overall, this is a great collection and definitely better than buying all the games separately. Highly recommended for Zelda fans.

One of the best compilations of any great series ever.
I've been wanting to buy this for a while, finally found it, and took the opportunity to bid on it.

I mainly bought this for Majora's Mask game. I already have the Orcarina of Time game on Gamecube. I didn't really play the other games, the demo, or anything else, just the two N64 games on this disc. I have played the first Zelda game but on the normal Nintendo and I found it not as enjoyable as the N64 ones, I never really got into it. So this is definately worth getting for any Zelda game fan. It can get expensive as it is a promo item and not sold in stores, so there's a limit amount made.

Zelda is a puzzle solving series of games that can be challenging and fun. There's side quests to each game that aren't required to finish the game but can most of the time help you and make it easier. You don't 'level up' but you collect Heart Pieces to gain more 'hit points' or 'life'. You collect many items on your journey that assist you in one way or another.

The game was something I've wanted for a very long time and I'd have to say I'm far from disappointed from my choice.

How could you not love 4 Zelda titles on one disc? Both original ones for nintendo plus both for the 64!! Hours and hours of fun!! A must have for any Zelda fan!!

I have Zelda collector once (bonus from Play-asia), but I sell it to my friend without notice that this game is VERY RARE.
So, when I want to purchase, NO ONE SELL IT...
After a couple years, now it's my time to look for it seriously..
Ebay is the only place that Zelda Collector is easy to find...

Released to the United States November 24, 2003 (Japan March 18, 2004) The Legend of Zelda Collectors edition offers four action packed classics near impossible to find. This Disk includes The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (standard version), and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. The games have been emulated and recreated to run in progressive scan display. Both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask have been formatted to run at a resolution of 640x480 (opposing 320x240i) unfortunately these collectors disks were part of a gamecube bundle and are no longer in print. If you're an old school Zelda fan this is a must have collection item, if you happen to run across one of these it's easily worth the buy. I myself grew up with Zelda and have always been tired of dealing with the constantly malfunctioning Nintendo cartridge system. And this game gives you 4 of the best Zelda games ever created. The games of course run great, I have never had any problems with the emulations. I can't possibly bring any dislikes about for this collection. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I have.

The game classic that all collectors and players must have. This is the second one that we've purchased.....my youngest accidently destroyed the first. This game is one that you will enjoy playing forever!

Every Zelda fan gotta love this game. Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask in one GameCube game. You don't get it any better than that!

The main reason i bought this game is because as my review name states I LOVE ZELDA! . But i also got it because of the older games on it they remind me of when i was 5 playing zelda for the first time while my dad was watching to see if i could play it and not break the system XD i was a rough lil kidd ^_^ but yea after finally finding this i was so happy because not only did they put the first and second zelda's on it but they also put Zelda:OOT and Zelda:MM . Majoras mask i was planing on possibly thinking to take my old n 64 cartrige and go to nintendo hq in the U.S. to pay them to copy it to a gamecube disc and emulate it for the system but once i found this i said forget that this is 50 times better than what i was thinking XD

It is really nice to have the old Zelda games all on one disc and for a more current system. Now I can get back to playing the old games that I loved grwing up. There are a couple newer Zelda games on it and demos for others, but I like it best for the old stuff.

Just adding to my collection, I love all the Zelda Games. I decided to buy it cause the price was good. Plus I've got a gamecube I like best and can play all the games in one system.
