The Joshua Tree - U2 (CD 1990)

I bought this to replace the one I had that was lost/stolen. It is still my favorite U2 album. I have, I think, pretty much everything they've recorded, and I believe it's the best of their work (so far).

This is one of my all-time favorites! The songs are absolutely beautiful and mesh very well together. I highly recommend it! Once you hear it you will be hooked..

This is about my 4th or 5th copy and it is easily in my top 10 of all the music that I have ever owned. it's great.

great cd. my favorite group and my favorite collection of songs all on the same album. the best album by far.

U2 is a classic rock band. I love the way Edge plays his guitar and I think Bono puts a lot of emotion into many of his songs. Also, they spread an anti war message in much of their music which is a positive thought.

Without question, one of the greatest albums of all-time! I think I've finally found what I'm looking for....

I had a copy before for many years, and just recently lost several CD's. I right way had to repurchase this one first since it was one of my favorites. All the tracks are grert, and I cannot even say which one I prefer. Sometimes it depends on the mood one is in to appeciate a certain song. But, again, this is one I will not do without!

This CD is filled with all of the classic hits from U2. I think this is still their best CD to date!

I loved every song on the cd. The song Joshua Tree is a great song. Bono is at his best at this cd. This was the beginning of his career and what a professional and talented singer.

I had it on casette but don't own a casette player anymore. It's a great disc with a lot of wonderful songs, including one of my favorite.

Pick it up, put on the headset and you'll enter the new world of insight..
U2 leads us into that world..

Only one song of whole album played, all others skipped. Waste of time and money, thanks for nothing.

Although a few of the songs on The Joshua Tree are about other places (REd Hill Town, for instance), I think of the album as strikingly American. The album is about the American experience in some ways, and it is about the American landscape in others. The lyrics and music both paint a beautiful, bittersweet picture--and songs like Exit are dark and deep. The first few songs on side B are arguably the best sequence in rock music history--the transitions are perfectly blended, and the result is a great listening experience. Love this great album!

This is one of my all time favorite albums. While I respect U2s versatility to keep moving in new musical directions, this album along with Rattle and Hum were U2 at it's best.

Nice albumm of the favorite classics of U2!! Well worth the price paid and a shear joy to listen to.

A Christian Rock group from Ireland. Where Christianity, is the main theme, for U2. They are also rock n roll. I love the first 2 songs on this CD. Where the streets have no names. If one listens to the song very carefully he is decribing the streets of Heaven, to everyone who listens. (This is a known fact from several interviews with U2). The second song, is: I STill Haven't Found What I Am Looking for. We all feel like this, once in a while, at my second job as a Security Officer, when this song comes on the radio, you can hear it reverberate through out a Construction site. Because in a sense, we all have been there...we are all looking for something that does not exist here.
And we haven't figured it out yet? Listen too these two songs, and you can pretty much figure out, what U2 is telling you about yourself.

I have loved this cd since the day it arived.This is a must by exelent cd!!! It was worth every penny.And if U2 has a masterpiece album this must be it!!! I highly recumed giving U2's Joshua Tree a try,because it is one heck of an album and I am sure you will love it!!!

The Joshua Tree is a classic U2 CD. It contains amazing music by a truly amazing group. I'd recommend this CD if you're of the baby boomer age. Truely great.

There was absolutely no problems with the cd when it was shipped to me. There were no scratches on it that could hurt the quality of the cd. The little case that it came in was also in very good condition. I love the first three songs on the cd. U2 is such a sweet band. "I want to run......I don't want to hide......I want to tear down the walls..that hold me inside....I want to reach out...and touch the flame...where the streets have no name!" YEah!

If you buy a U2 CD, make sure this is it or at least one of them. Has great tunes... many of them hits. And seeing I have to put in 100 characters or less, I will add this useless final line about nothing.
