... with R. A. Salvatore and the Drizzt novels. If you like the whole "Middle Earth-Forgotten Realms-Dungeons and Dragons" thing, just bite the bullet, buy all the novels, and read them in this order: "The Dark Elf Trilogy", "The Icewind Dale Trilogy", "The Legacy of the Drow", "Paths of Darkness", and lastly (so far, I hope anyway), "The Hunters' Blades Trilogy". All are excellent, but my absolute favorite has to be "The Dark Elf Trilogy". (And yes, even though it was written second, read it first. It's about Drizzt's early years and should be read before "Icewind Dale".) "The Icewind Dale Trilogy" is my second favorite of the sets. They're terrific! Great characters, great stories, unforgettable setting ... you'll like them. Go ahead.
As usual R.A.Salvatore out does himself yet again! All his books are very addictive and once you start reading them you just get caught up with the story and want to keep reading till your finished.
Not as good as the first ,needed better monsters to kill and bad to say bad. It would be nice if Drittz got a little elf love once in a while. Ending was OK but just OK.
I purchases this book after a recomendation from a friend. I was skeptical at first, but pleased by the end. The writing isn't going to win any Nobel Prizes, but it will keep you interested all the way through the 1000+ pages. I really liked the fact that all three books were included in one volume, meaning I didn't have to keep returning to the book store. Overall, I would suggest this book for anyone who is a fan of the fantasy/sci-fi genre, or just a big Salvatore fan.
Thank you for the quick shipppemt. The book was in great condtion and it was a good price. My husband loves it and I would like to thank you for making it easy for me to get it for him.
