THIS IS A GREAT DATE MOVIE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE FOR THAT OR A GIRLS NIGHT IN! I LOVE THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN CAMERON DIAZ AND JUDE LAW THEY ARE SO AMAZING TOGETHER THEY REALLY SHINE TOGETHER IN THIS MOVIE!
IT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND WELL ACTED I HAVE BOUGHT THIS MOVIE AS A GIFT FOR SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT ALSO LOVED THIS MOVIE!

The story is well written and the pace is set just right. I think this is a movie both men and women will enjoy.

Great movie for chick flix or date nights or just 'feel good' time movie...the actors are all wonderful, and fit their roles to a tee! You don't want to miss a beat...the storyline is fabulously new and refreshing! = )

I REALLY liked this movie a lot. It made me laugh, cry and held my interest from beginning to end. This is what more films should be like! A great love story without being overly "girly." My husband even loves it! I HIGHLY recommend this one! Great actors too!

I am not going to spoil the movie by giving away anything. It is amazing, well written, wonderfully directed, and phenomenal acting. This movie will be around for ages. I was able to identify with a little of each character.

I have seen this movie first in the theater when it first came out and loved it. It is funny and romantic. My boyfriend even liked it and he usually stays away fro m Romance Comedies. I've seen it so many times and haven't gotten bored yet. I loved it so much that I had to own it. I would recommend this movie to the Romance /Comedy lovers and others as well.

Very enjoyable movie for the whole family. Good storyline and fine acting. Even my husband enjoyed it and asked to add it to our collection. He normally only likes action, sports, and westerns! Found reasonably priced on eBay and it was a very smooth transaction with the seller.

I'm someone whose preferences in film run to either foreign/indie/offbeat, or, when I'm in the mood, light romantic comedy but only if it's really good. I put off watching this film thinking it was not for me, and then one day while flicking, lingered, and was pleasantly surprised and then...delighted! The 4 actors are wonderful - even Cameron Diaz, (though not a favorite, I find quite good sometimes in comedies where she's never afraid to let herself go), LOVED Kate Winslett and Jude Law and Jack Black, whom I also love but who often goes overboard, I found restrained and adorable - his best since High Fidelity. The story is just wonderful - like all of those totally unrealistic romantic comedies of the past. Jude Law was told by the director to watch lots of old Cary Grant movies in preparation, and he is as cute and quirky as Cary in this one. Best of all, the script is a delight (Kate Winslett called it "Butter")...just right, not too much, funny light not guffaw funny, but you watch with a smile on your face from beginning to end. And the best thing of all was the choice for the two small girls...absolutely au naturel lovely! And here I am, I never write reviews...

What a fun movie!! Loved it and highly recommend for anyone with a little romance in their soul...and a sense of humor!!

I really like this movie. It has a great story line that keeps you involved throughout the entire movie. It is both a romantic and funny movie. This movie has great actors/actresses that play their part very well. Also the movie has a great ending. I would recommend this movie.

I had seen the movie and decided I wanted it in my collection. It is a good clean movie that makes you feel good. It is one I can watch over and over. I also bought it at a good price without having to leave home.

Ok... this is a little different! I am not rating movies based on the performances, storylines, or tearjerker endings, but on their value in pleasing the primitive decor lover! My daughter bought this movie as a Christmas present for me just so I can visit one of my favorite movie places from time to time!

This movie ranks tops with me, and in all sincerity... it really is a sweet movie. There's some irresponsible drinking and intimacy, but no nudity and it really is a lovely story if you can get beyond the shallower themes of modern day love stories and stay for the deeper themes that the movie does eventually get to.

But... the English cottage in this movie is the REAL STAR!!! I can't take my eyes off of it and rewind often to get a better glimpse of color schemes! The vintage robin's egg blue of the kitchen cupboards is just beyond words!!! I must have that color in my home and am currently rearranging the content of my home to better compliment it.

I recommend The Holiday to anyone who loves the "prim", shabby, cottage look. You may not remember the story... though I think you will... but you'll never forget "Rosehill Cottage".

Great movie- The characters have a real on-screen presence with one another that keeps you watching until the end.

Very romantic. Beautiful scenery. I enjoy a good ending. Enjoyed the movie when I saw it on TV. So I decided to buy it.

I have watched this movie at least a dozen times. So I bought it for my parents for Christmas and they also, strongly recommend it.

Very cute romatic comedy. Cameron Diaz is just her cute,fun self and there is some great chemistry between her and Jude Law. Jack Black adds his usual comedic charm. All around good movie.

I typically do not like movies like this but I absolutely loved this. Believe I have watched it five or six times and could watch it another five or six. Fun movie with good characters who play their parts very well.
