You usually can't go wrong with buying a greatest hits album from an established artist like Clint Black. He writes a lot of his own stuff (which can be rare these days) and plays instruments in the recording studio (which is really rare). One thing I hate is when a record company squeezes out a hits album when an artist produces 10 top 40 tracks and they don't add any new material. This album features fully 14 top 10 hits and features a live version of the Eagles masterwork, "Desperado". This album is the best of the best from one of the best.

Pros: Great compilation for a great artist
Cons: One mediocre song, absence of "Nobody's Home"
Clint Black has enjoyed over ten years of success in country music. The Katy, Texas native broke onto the country music scene in 1989 with the incredible album, Killing Time. Since that time, Clint Black has been an artist in constant flux. While he hasn t always been in the public spotlight, his music has always given his fans a view right into his personal thoughts and emotions. The Greatest Hits released in 1996, really puts his musical career into perspective and is without a doubt the best compilation of all his work. Like the Rain This is one of four songs found only on this album. It s.

The Best Clint Black Album Ever!

Pros: Clint shows the true meaning of country music through his style.
Cons: None
I am a true fan of Clint Black. His style of Country music pleases my ears. Its his deep, but yet soft voice that makes me likes his style of music. Speaking of style, Clint's style of country music is different from other country singers. When he sings, its like he is telling a poem about something, rather than blurting out a bunch of words out that have no meaning. On his greatest hits CD, Clint included 4 brand new songs, while the other 12 of them are is all time hits. Heres what I think of each individual song on his Greatest Hits CD. 1. Like The Rain- My most favorite song on the entire.

Pros: has all of his greatest hits on 1 cd
Cons: none that i can think of
The name Clint Black is very well known among Houston as he was born in Katy, Texas which is not too far from me. I have always liked Clint and every time he comes to the Astrodome for the rodeo I have been there. I have to admit he put on a better show when he was single and would wear his sexy cowboy hat when he sang. The reason I bought "The Greatest Hits" is because I value my dollar and will wait until a CD comes out with all my favorite songs with any of my favorite artists. I don't remember exactly when I bought this album but at the rate that I play it I will be buying a replacement...

Versatile Yet Classic Country

Pros: great music, creative lyrics, variety of styles and emotions
Cons: ???
Country music is not really "cool" where I'm from. However, spent much of my adolescence around horses, working in a stable and competing in Western horse shows, so I was exposed to a great deal of country. I used to learn the songs just from exposure without ever knowing the titles or performers, so I was shocked when I saw an advertisement for this CD and found it contained many of my favorite songs! Clint Black has a rich, powerful voice that can sincerely communicate the emotions behind his music. He has the appropriate country "twang" and an impressive vocal range. He also blends...

Pros: Good Wholesome Music
Cons: none
I bought this album because it had the name "Clint Black" on it. He has his talent as just getting in there and getting it done. Being a hard worker. I love this album for what it is worth. Going from one extreme to the other is a talent within itself. Many would say country music is all the same. I would hope so or it wouldn't be country. It's the talent of the performer that catches your attention. Clint Black is a keeper and his albums and vocals shine with energy and country content. And he can write a song just as good as he sings a song. There are 16 tracks of good wholesome music you...
