Alan Jackson was great before this CD and is even better after this CD. If you don't have this CD, you can't consider yourself a country fan.

Alan Jackson has a style that is not quite classic country, but retains that base .. This album does a very good job of putting together the popular hits and music of A.J .. This is a very good selection for the collection .. I would have given it an excellent rating .. BUT .. I'm hoping his best stuff is coming ..

Much Wanted -- Much Loved -- Superb music for everyone who is a fan of Alan Jackson and for those who like all types of music -- love songs, story songs, country songs, rock-a-billy, dance, feel good, laugh and cry music with heart, soul, and inspiration. My 7, 9, and 13 year old children like to listen and sing along. A good variety to hit replay on the CD player!

At the risk of undermining the trust others have placed in my previous opinions, I'll admit that I am a fan of country music, and moreover, that Alan Jackson is far and away my favorite country singer, Ford truck commercials not withstanding. I have had this CD for over a year now, and I will admit before I heard it I could not stand country music. A friend, not knowing what I liked, gave it to me as a birthday gift. But after hearing his songs, it made me hear country in a whole new way. Alan Jackson is amazing. And this greatest hits CD has his best songs ever on it. My personal favorite song of all time is on this CD, its called "I'll Try". It has a total of 20 great songs. Alan Jackson is a well accomplished Country star, and this CD has his every hit. This CD is filled with songs that I have always liked and listened to. I have always enjoyed his music, and this Alan Jackson CD is the perfect CD for any fan. It has great songs like "Gone Country" and "Chattahoochee". A couple of other good songs are "Tall, Tall Trees" and "Livin On Love". This is a great Country classic and will continue to be for a long time. I recommend this as a great gift idea and a great CD for any Country music fan. I will give Alan Jackson and this CD five stars well earned stars.
