The Gasparilla Cookbook is such a great cookbook, showcasing the Tampa/Tarpon Springs area and also regional Southern cooking. I've used it since the late 1960's, enjoying personal and restaurant recipes that I've eaten all my life. Tampa's Ybor City offers you Cuban dishes and Tarpon Springs their Greek foods, recipes that are traditional and unique to their own areas. This is one cookbook that I have totally enjoyed and still use.

I love this cookbook!!! I grew up in southwest FL just south of Gasparilla Island and this has lots of authentic recipes that i grew up with...it is a gem in my collection
