I've got to say I admire Robert Downey's effort in putting together an album, however I feel he has 2 or 3 songs tops on this cd that are actually successful. He has a great voice, very nice to listen to, but all in all, only a few songs stand on their own.
I bought this as a gift for my mother who saw him sing a song on Ally Mcbeal when he was on the show. The music is fantastic!! He has a very bluesy sound and you would never believe he could sing as nice as he does. What a pleasant suprise!!
If you’re like me, then you fell in love with Robert Downey Jr.’s voice on Ally McBeal and probably have heard his collaborations with Vonda Shepard. If so, then you probably have a good idea of what type of music to expect from Downey. His CD is made up of beautiful piano, love ballads; all of which come together for a very mellow album.

Pros: It s good to see Robert Downey do something productive with his life

I have to give props to a guy who keeps falling and each time, he battles back up. When he did the talk show circuit last fall to showcase his album, I was intrigued. He usually only sang one cut of the album and it wasn t horrible. It was definitely better than other theatre types who should focus on their acting (Loud cough...
