The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace (1996)

This book changed my whole marriage. It is radical and wonderful. Makes you take a heart look at what your real desire is for your marriage and how you have been doing things. You can't read this and walk away unconvicted. It made me want to change so many things and helped me in areas that I had no idea i was doing it wrong. My husband has benefited from it! My whole family has benefited. I wish I had read this before I got married and would have had a better start and not after 12 years of marriage. I give this as a shower gift now for brides. What an impact! We did this as a women's Bible study and several women quit after the first week, cause it was so convicting and they didn't want to repent and change. So, that is your warning, but you will love and appreciate what God teaches us thru this woman. Thank you so much for writing it. We are doing the study again with more women that weren't here the first time.
