The Deniers by Lawrence Solomon (2008)

Al Gore would like you to believe that the assumption that Man is causing global warming is a fact, the scientific debate is over and that we should roll back the industrial revolution. What is true is that the scientific debate is still continuing, the earth has been warmer before the industrial revolution than it is today, and Antarctic Ice is growing, not shrinking. Scientists are not being heard because their data does not fit the political agenda of radical environmentalists and politicians. If we, the people, do not stop this extreme alarmist campain, it will costs us a lot more than Y2K. We will pay with loss of freedom, huge increases taxation, and governmental control over our daily activities like heating and cooling our homes and driving to work.
