There is a message held within that stresses the importance of every aspect of life....both the ones viewed as special and those that are mundane. After watching this movie, you should really check out the graphic novel by James O'Barr. The novel has far more characters and is much darker and deeper. However, this movie is beautiful and touching. The Crow is a love story, it is about a long so strong that death could not seperate Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) from his soon-to-be wife. On the night before their wedding, Eric and his wife are murdered because she was working on a real estate deal that would have kept a bunch of gangsters out of a good bit of money. One year after their murder, Eric rises from the grave and seeks out to avenge.

I must start by saying I am biased toward this movie. By now you've probably noticed it in my "love it" list. That would be because I think it is one of the top 5 movies I've ever seen. This movie has everything you need in a flick. The characters tend to be strong and well thought out. Almost all of them change throughout the movie. I can't think of any static characters at all as a matter of fact. I'm not going to give away much of the plot because I couldn't do it justice on a keyboard. I will say as much as I can though.
