I have always been a CARS fan and the release of this DVD was a nice addition. It is well thought out and the bonus tracks/videos complement the main DVD. This DVD won't let you down, well worth the purchase!!

This DVD is one of the very few resources available to fans of the classic new wave Boston band, "The Cars." As DVD's go, expect outakes and rare glimpses into the band at their zenith of popularity- circa 1984. This is a nice addition in conjuction with the only other Cars' DVD release of their roughly done German television concert. It would be nice to have a greatest hits DVD to round out the lot. This DVD is nice because it compliments all of the bands talents- Orr, Ocasek, Easton, Hawkes and Robinson equally. This probably won't impress the casual Cars fan as much as it would the one's who recall how progressive this was when the Cars' first sung the words to "Candy-O and You're All I've Got Tonight."

Hi i bought this being a longtime CARS fan. I enjoyed every minute of it....just wish there was more...There is a lot to be seen and heard in this unique film of the band. It captures a good spread over the decade long existance of this band. Would love to have seen some more club dates and lesser known to the public songs, but all in all like any of their albums if you search you shall find. As one reviewer put it an excellent keepsake. Now that we know RIC has a lot more footage and it is appearing on the official CARSUNLOCKED website...why not release another disc?? After all the trailer shows some different performances not on the disc ...and maybe this will get the ball rolling to release live lost rare concerts by the band....thank you RIC AND your son ERON for putting together this great package on the band.
