Pros:
some good performances, a few good songs
Cons:
a lot of insignificant music in this cast recording
Personally, I am not a major fan of the music of Peter Allen. He has written a number of popular songs including the theme from the movie, Arthur, I Honestly Love You (originally done by Olivia Newton John), Don t Cry Out Loud, and many others. I went to see the Broadway show despite the lukewarm reviews of the show as there is a good word of mouth on Hugh Jackman. Hugh is a personable star, refreshing to see an actor who can sing, act, and with a bit of personality.
