The video and audio on this title are incredible. The cinematography can often leave you uninterested but over time you are desensitized to it's handheld camera styling. The HD transfer on this film is exceptional, only looking gritty in the India scenes and major close ups, but that can be claimed as cinematic. In all, despite some functional errors with my copy, this film was a very good watch and superior to the DVD version in sound quality.

In 2002, a new spy, Jason Bourne, came on the movie scene in The Bourne Identity. I saw that movie in the theater and really enjoyed it. I own the DVD and have watched it several times since then. I have been looking forward to seeing the second movie featuring Jason Bourne, The Bourne Supremacy. I wanted to go see it sooner than I managed, but I did see it. I enjoyed the movie for the most part, but I felt there were a few problems with the movie. In discussing things about The Bourne Supremacy, some things I mention could be spoilers to The Bourne Identity if that movie hasn t been seen yet.

There s a point in The Bourne Supremacy when Jason Bourne washes his hands in a scene that might seem absolutely unnecessary. It was at that point that I decided I could relax. I was by now relieved of my sequel fear , and more importantly I could stop worrying about Paul Greengrass first major effort. While I think Doug Liman more properly captured the feel of Ludlum s novels, Greengrass chose a hyperkinetic, camera in motion style that also works, and in this particular version of such an attempt, that hand-washing scene is absolute gold.
