The Bourne Identity (2003, DVD)

They said that it was the second best spy thriller of all time. Well, if they are wrong they were not far off the mark.
I watched all 3 movies, in order, one after the other on a Sunday evening.
I bought the set on a recommendation from my work mate who indicated that the second movie had some scenes located in Goa, India where my parents were born.
Personally, if I watch 3 movies in a row then the movies are imaginative, exciting and captivating because I rarely watch even one movie at home without also doing other chores in between. The movie was well directed and produced with action all over the world.

I love this show it is great on suspense and it kept you on the edge of your seat. And I will watch it over and in seqence with the other two.

The new James Bond, Has action and intellegence.Grat movie for the action lover veiwer. I give it a Two thumbs up!

I wished the screenplay had stayed more with the action described in the book - it was better than what the movie script. However the movie was action packed and fun.

This is a great movie and a must start if you are planning to watch the whole series. Very action packed with out the overdone blood and visual junk. This movie carries on its own merrits of good writing, acting, and directing. After this movie we bought the next in the series and both my wife and I have enjoyed them. Not to tell any of the movies action just buy it our top movie of the year!

I like that the price was reasonable and that the disc was like new. I like that the case was not scarred or scratched up and that the movie got to me in the said amount of time but actually a little sooner. I would definitely use this buyer again.

It is action packed fast paced and never boring. A thriller that I really enjoy. The sequel is equally as good.

i had the the bourne supremacy and i wanted this one too too have both of them now on dvd very good movies i love matt damon very good actor enjoyed both of these.

I bought this movie after seeing it in the theatre because I enjoyed it so much. The action was great but it took several viewings to really get the whole plot. Excellent movie.

Matt Damon stars in this fantastic movie about a man who is found in the beginning of the film floating in the mediterainian sea. He thinks his name is Jason Bourne. But for that matter, he could be any number of people that match his identity on the numerous passports he finds in his safety deposit box. Why would he have all these different passports? Why can he speak so many languages? Why does he suffer from such terrible headaches. And most importantly, why are people trying to kill him? Damon goes beyond likeable and into believable as he stars as a man with no memory on the run in The Bourne Identity. A must see for all action movie fans.

We already had the second of this series so we wanted to get the first of this series of movies for our home video library. The Bourne Identity and also the The Bourne Supremacy are awesome action movies and Matt Damon plays the part fantastically! Can't wait until the 3rd of these comes out!!

I bought this because when It originally came out I didn't buy it then the explosive edition came out and it seemed that this edition was not going to be available that's why I decided to look for it on Ebay and fortunately i found it. So I am happy with my purchase.

The Bourne Identity is one of the best action, spy films ever made. I was influenced to buy the DVD after reading the novel. I did a large presentation on the book, and the book is fantastic! It goes into so much more detail and suspense thant he film, however the film depicts more visual action scenes. This is by far at the top of the list for spy thrillers. I love government / spy movies like this. I recommend this and the book in either order. I want to read the whole trilogy now.

Well made film, settings were great backdrops to the film's storyline. Strong cast makes for a memorable film.
