I love how this book is laid out. It not only makes it user friendly but also very easy to read. This book is not a diet plan that you have to follow precisely but more of a guide and inspiration. I hate how some diet books spend pages and pages telling you exactly what and how much of it to eat at each meal. The biggest loser teaches you how to eat healthy with what you already eat. It helps you to learn the difference between calories and fat, good carbs and bad, and even discusses a more nutritional adult food pyramid to follow. So rather than saying you need to eat 1 cup of strawberries at lunch it tells you to eat one cup of fruit. It leaves the choices of what you will eat up to you and just guides you to pick the healthier choices. I also love the exercise portion of The Biggest Loser. Again it helps you to learn the difference between the exercises you are performing, what each one is doing for your body and how it will affect you.
I think The Biggest Loser should be considered a book of inspiration and not one of diet and exercise, thats really what it does! It inspires you to become a better, healthier, happier you!
You just have to have the will power to pick up the book and let it inspire you to become a different person!
I bough thtis book beacuse I watched the TV show & was very inspired to get in better shape. This book is also very inspiring & I would highly recommend it to anyone who liked the show. It has so much information about dieting and exercise & the cast members gave their secrets too. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!
It came fast and still packaged... Good job. I'd use these people again. I bought it cause I'm chubby and I haven't read it and maybe it won't work but that has nothing to do with the people selling it because they didn't write it. I need at least 100 characters.
I didn't get hooked on this show until 2008 season and thought I would check out Bob's 2005 season. I liked looking at the photos, but since I hadn't seen the season, I wasn't too interested in the stories. Maybe I'll enjoy a book about 2008 show better.
I bought this book to learn more about the Biggest Loser exercise and diet plan. I have been more than satisfied. It explains the motivation behind making changes in lifestyle and diet, while providing a basic workout routine and recipes. Great book!

This book gives you a commom since to loosing weight. I first checked it out at the library then decided to purchace. It gives degrees of calorie reduction which before I had been trying to cut back to quickly and failing. I have been doing this for 3 weeks and have lost 10 lbs without to much effort. Now I am ready to start the exercise part.
I decided to buy this book after deeply connecting to the process of losing weight that I viewed on The Biggest Loser TV show. This was the first season I'd watched and believe strongly in excercise and healthy eating being wisest choice for weightloss.
I'm so glad I did buy this book. The program is logical and easily explained. I would reccomend it to anyone who wants to be healthier by becoming more fit and eating well. Although I like the recipes in it, I like the recipes alot better in The Biggest Loser Cookbook. You might want to get it as well. They go hand in hand nicely.
This is a great book full of great information that you will use for a lifetime. A great book to always refer back to if you're slipping with your diet and need some motivation or if you simply just need to learn the proper way to live a healthy lifestyle. I recommend this book to anyone, dieting or not. It's full of page after page of useful information for EVERYONE.
I watch the Biggest Loser show everyweek so I thought I would buy the book. I like the book but I didn't really learn anything I already didn't know. If you watch the Biggest Loser show on a regular basis, then you don't really need the book unless you can't remember. I'm always researching diet and nutritional information. So for me, it was nothing new.
I would recommend this book to someone who doesn't know the basics of losing weight. Bob Harper is an excellent trainer and he know's his stuff.

I am an avid Biggest Loser viewer! I have been on a quest to lose more weight, and I find this book is very encouraging as well as packed with alot of great information. I also purchased the recipe book, and with both books together...you will get alot of information. I have lost 60lbs already with about 15 more pounds to go, but have hit a plateau...this book is helping me break through the plateau and helping me on my way to my goal weight.
It's an inspiring book with all the exercise secrets and diet of the contestants. I bought this book to jumpstart my weightloss and already I've lost 10 pounds!
I was expecting much more... but still it was a good book. It is very motivational, very inspiring, some recipes I won't do them never ever in my entire live, but in conclusion, I guess it was ok... And I'm glad I only paid 10 dollars cuz if the price is more than that, then is not worth it.

I actually got this book from the library originally, and I liked it so much that I decided to purchase it. The exercise tips and the tips about maintaining a weight loss were really good, but it was the recipes and diet plans that really made me want to buy the book. "Doc's Chili" is really delicious. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, dieting or not!
i liked the book. alot of recipes at end. some good info including exercise. the book covered many areas of weight loss.i read through quickly. good long term info guide.
The book is great, it talks about real people changing their lives. The diet is easy to follow, and makes sense! I just started the diet so we shall see if it works but, the book is written well and easy to understand. There aren't any confusing "big" words in the book and its very emotionally moving.
I really liked this book because it didnt drown you with words, meaning , it isn't blah blah blah . This book is filled with information and very simple instructions to lose weight . inspiring pics and overall a positive book . I would recomend it :)
The book was in great condition. I love the content of the book and I decided to buy it because of the t.v. show and I need to lose weight and get in shape. The book was $25.00 in the store and I got it for .99 and that is a great deal!
I have purchased many diet books before, but this one seems the most interesting. It gives personal goals as well as motivation. Gives exercises and down to earth tips on weight loss and how to succeed-planning and tools of keeping a weight journal, being accountable not only to yourself, but your food journal and if you have a partner and be accountable to him/her. Honesty. It gives you recipes to follow, most of them has whole wheat flour in them, nothing wrong with that if you can have wheat products.
It comes down to sacrifice.. do you want to look good, slim and healthy or stay the way you are, depending on body structure and appearance? Short term or long term? Temporary or permanent results, the choice is yours.
The whole point of losing weight with this program is not to let it get out of hand. Lose with permanent results and be a success while having fun doing it, but if it happens that you gain weight, well, it's only a setback.
The bottom line this book was and is a good choice..it tells you how to stay on track and guides you to work hard at exercise and the benefit is a healthier YOU!
Great book very informational would recommend to anybody that wants to loose weight. I like the fact that they break down the exercises that you should do and show you detailed pictures of what the exercises are. They also include menus for each group of weight that you are.
I decided to get this book to try out the healthy recipes on my journey to shedding those unwanted pounds . It has great information,the recipes are simple, healthy, and taste good. I think this is a great way for people to learn how to cook and eat healthier meals. I just wish that it had more recipes in it. Guess I'll have to get the cookbook now.
