Old Hat, New Hat by Stan and Jan Berenstain
This book has one of our family favorites and was popular with all 5 of our children when they were little. Now we have grandchildren and it's one of the books we make sure they have. It's comical and the rhyming is so much fun and makes it easy for the kids to remember it. Mom and Dad also know the whole book by heart and still enjoy it! We have another of our children starting his family and he said he wants alot of the Dr. Seuss books to have and read to the new baby and that's why I purchased this one.

The book has engaging pictures, easy words, and a catchy rhythm. My 3 year old son loves the book, and it has been read to him so often that he now quotes it as we turn the pages! So it's a great book for parents to read aloud to children, or as a first book for early readers.
