I love this book because it is always good to get back to basics. I have been working with polymer clay for 20 years and even with all of the great new tools and techniques that come out I still find inspiration in just getting back to those projects and techniques that first attracted me to polymer.
Donna does a fabulous job of touching on so many techniques and applications in this book. She is just a true master and each piece of clay that she touches (even the scraps) turns to something marvelous.
This book on Polymer provides you with step by step and pictures not only with typical polymer clay projects, but with beads, dishes, etc. A great book for your library.
This book was clear and pretty much up to date from what I can tell. I've only recently begun working with clay, and so have been compiling reference materials and books with ideas and this one fit the bill very nicely! It covers all the basics and in depth. It has lots of great pictures of different pieces and they all tend to fire the imagination. The explanations were clear although they don't tell you how many times you will have to practice a technique to get it to look like the piece in the illustration! Most of the items described will need an intermediate or expert in working with polymer clay to handle. All in all, a great book and easy to read.
This was one of my first books on polymer clay. Donna Kato writes in a very understandable style. I love this book and refer to it often as I learn to work in polymer clay. Great tutorials.
