A great bunch of movies with a lotta clean comedy. It's a shame that todays writers don't have the skills to really pen this kind of comedic reparte. A great addition to any collection

Brought back the memories of my younger days. Great family movie for the grandchildren. If the children of today would have more of these movies available, just think what a wonderful world we'd have. Ma and Pa Kettle movies were just so funny, but realistic. Alot of these incidents still happen within the homes and it's funny.

Was looking for this set, they were the cheapest. There service was excellent, when asked questions they responed quickly and professionally. I will definitely be buying from them again.

You remember how funny Percy Kilbride was. You remember that Margery Mains ruled the roost (literally) with an iron hand in a velvet glove. You remember how much fun this movie was. You're right

The Ma and Pa Kettle dvds are great, they bring back the memories of watching them on TV. The dvds are in excellent condition very good picture..

remember these movies as a small child. wanted to share these with my family. hope they are still as funny now as they were than.

I have always loved Ma and Pa and their movies but they are very rarley shown on t.v/cable and/or satellite. Now that I own them I can watch whenever I want and not have to wait.

I purchased this movie because my best friend and I were talking one day about what we did when we were kids. She said she loved to sit and watch Ma and Pa Kettle when she was younger. Her birthday is coming up soon and I thought this would make a great birthday present for her.

I bought this because I can remember watching Ma and Pa Kettle when I was a youngster. I thought this dvd with the four movies on it was excellent. I would strongly recomend it to anybody.

This is good clean comedy. I remember watching it as a child! Was delighted to know that you could still get copies of it!

Excellent family movies. Pop some popcorn, get you a soda, set back and have a good laugh. No sex, no cursing. Suitable for the whole family to watch together.

We got Ma and Pa Kettle just because my father-in-law had a list of movies he really wanted to own. One of which was "The Egg and I." That was the kick-off episode. Really glad we did this. Each episode lasts about an hour and a half. Has provided some excellent family entertainment.

I have been looking for this dvd for a long time. Did not know it was available until I found it on ebay. Brings back a lot of good memories from my childhood. Shipping was fast and dvd in excellent shape.

They just don't make movies like these anymore. these classics don't age at all. they will still keep you laughing. Great purchase for any family.

After being asked to write a review for this purchase of Ma & pa Kettle I'd have to say that this was a very smooth transaction. It is so nice when you bid on an item and then win it, that you recieve notification that you won! Then after I had paid for the movie, It was about afew hours later that I recieved a conformation saying my item was being mailed. How simple is that? I sure wish that every sale was as easy as this one. I have always loved the series of this show as a kid and I remembered it and desided I just had to have the set. I bought both volumes with 4 to 5 shows on each cd.
There is actually one thing bad about the cd, that is that the movies are more of when they leave the farm and go to the city when there were so many shows of them being on the farm. The setting or plot for this show is simular to the Beverly Hillbillies I would say.
Overall, this is a great series and even though it is in black and white, it is filled with lots of old fashion humor.

I bought this for a gift, I have it as well and it is always fun to laugh at! Old black and white movies are fun and it is really great to watch them. Ma always has a way to get them out of trouble, usually the trouble that Pa has got them into. Very entertaining! Good family movie, might even make this new kid generation think about what conditions their grandparents had to go thru and how great they have it now. Plus, it might get families talking about the old days and laughing when it seems that no families have time anymore. So, pop up the popcorn and sit down for a great show!

I bought the dvd because as a child I use to watch Ma and Pa Kettle movies all the time on tv. I wanted to see them again and have my kids experience them also. It has been fun watching them again.

I grew up watching Ma and Pa Kettle. These are just plain fun. The quality of this disk is good. Good picture and sound. All you need when you watch these is ICE CREAM.....LOTS AND LOTS OF ICECREAM..

I had the whole series of Ma and Pa Kettle in vhs but lost them to a relative so I have been hunting for them every since. My husband and I have sat and watched the great slapstick comedy for many an hour. The dvd's were perfect and the seller was very reasonable on price and shipping was fast and the packaging was great. I will be buying from this seller again and again. I had been hunting for about a year before I found them on e-bay. Thank you for having such great sellers of products that are hard to find or out of regular stock in small town stores. If you are looking for a comedy that the whole family can enjoy this is it. Four movies that all can watch and enjoy. Clean and absolutly funny. Comedy from a more innocent era in movies. Stories about a very poor but loving family with way more children than money and more laughs than children. I watched these movies with my family when I was growing up and they are just as entertaining now as then.
