Tha Doggfather has always been a slighting akward album 2 me. Snoop makes his comeback on album number 2...but without potna in rhyme Dr. Dre. In 1996, Snoop had lost his friend 2Pac and was becoming fed up with Deathrow. In the midst of it all, he still put out a quality album. Not about 2 stray away from the funk influenced sound, he hit us with the 1st single "Snoops Upside Ya Head." Another stand out single waz "Doggfather" which has Snoop coming at us with a slicker, more sophisticated sound. The rest of album has stand out tracks like "Up Jump Tha Boogie" and the 2nd single "Vapors"...but it has has a handful of average-at-best tracks.
