I really like all the songs on this CD - they are timeless. Where Do the Children Play?, Father and Son,Hard-headed Woman, Longer Boats, Miles from Nowhere, Into White, Tea for the Tillerman, etc. all brought back many good memories. No way you could go wrong owning this CD; one of my all-time favorites.
I love it. Just got done playing it for the umptenth time. I would highly recommend this cd to anyone who like acoutics and strings. Cat Steven's voice is quite unique. His songwriter is up there with some of the most talented, in my opinion. I've liked his music and lyrics for many decades,
Back in the day, Cat Stevens did this wonderful collection of his songs & music. Very folk music with abit of pop rock too. A great classic 70's music collection.
This is my favorite Cat Stevens CD, it think...I like them all...but I sing every song on here and enjoy myself totally...I know all the words and have been singing along for years...great CD if you are thinking of getting into Cat Stevens this is a good place to start.
This album along with Teaser and the Firecat are two of his best efforts. We like this style more than some of his later work, and consider them to be classics.
