very good family story easy for per teens to readi'm a jimmy buffet fan to start with i've read most of his books [working on one now] and know much of his music, not a normal buffet story..but this would be good great book for middleschool kids to read and report.. a clean, simple,and fun book to read ..i'm 51 yrs old and it was nice story ,i think of my nabor's billy goat and the messes it gets into ..... but a pig in new york that would be interresting

Swine Not is a suprising Good Read....
It is not "Where is Joe Merchant”, nor a “Salty Piece of Land”, more often it reminds the reader of Tales from Margaritaville. But it is Definitely worth the read. Something the adult ParrotHeads can read (and enjoy) and share with their young Parrotkeeets....
When the family uproots themselves and moves to New York so Mom Ellie
can take a job at a prestige Manhattan Hotel. (The perfect place for her Volcano Cakes lava cakes to flow). So, Barley can play on the youth team for the Red Bulls her (favorite team), and Maple (the other twin), can be near and study her favorite clothing designer Karen Wu., leaving Rumpy, (the pig) who was the goal tending champion in their old home town of Vertigo Tennessee hiding in the closet because the wicked Monsieur Boucher (Ellie’s Boss) got the hotel to outlaw EXOTIC PETS in the hotel. So the story begins…
No this tale does not end on a ship sailing majestically into the sunset…But with this Tale Mr. Buffett proves he really did study journalism and deserved his degree…
