Santana should be required listening for any human being that claimes he or she actually likes music. Santana is one of the only CD's I will buy instead of downloading mp3's because his music is classic. Buy it on eBay.

The first song would start you dancing and shaking to its rhythm right to the core. As the Album of The Year, this proves Santana is still once again delivering music at any age. Plays well for some beach party, cocktail lounge, after wedding parties, this will get anybody dancing.

Usually I have to get a 'greatest hits' album in order to love almost every single song on an album. Santana's Supernatural is a spectacular exception. Each song is modern and distinctive, and yet has the unmistakable sound and style of Carlos Santana. I bought this CD to get an inexpensive back-up to my original CD!

Supernatural---the title says it allCarlos Santana is a legend! He is "Supernatural" just as the title of the CD says! Very good CD "Smoothe" is probably the most recognized song on the CD but the rest of the CD rocks too! So much talent this man has, he is respected by all in the music industry;the Godfather of the Guitar!

Why I bought it: Well, first of all i love the sound of an electric guitar well played of course! Santana is a classic and in this album he express his style and feeling about music within different rythms. He is a great exponent.
What I like most about it: His magnificient performs without exagerating in all the songs caught my attention, i was looking forward to have someday this album, in addition to the variety of rythms you can find, he goes from latin to samba, salsa, hiphop featuring great stars like eric clapton.
What you dislike about it: Nothing. It's just what i was hoping to find in this album!

Santana is absolutely incredible and one has to see to believe this man's virtuosity with the guitar. El Farol is the piece that has drawn me to this CD and I have throughly enjoyed listening to this rendition.

The guest artists contribute favorably to the varied musical styles rendered on this cd. While this makes a nice mix, it detracts from the pure Santana experience. I like this cd, but Between Good and Evil continues to be my favorite Santana offering.

I bought this album when it came out. I still have it and listen to it. To me, it doesn't matter what kind of music fan you are. There are songs on here that you can relate to. "Smooth" is such a catchy song. This CD just has great music.

Carlos Santana, the man, the myth the legend. His sound is like no other, and that is clearly heard on this beautiful DVD-Audio. I am happy to say that this features a wonderful multi channel track that just puts you in the middle of the music. (Da Le) Yaleo starts the album with a Spanish song, which despite my 4 years of college Spanish, I have no idea what it meant. I do know this, the music is beautiful, this song starts the album on a mellow, yet lush note. In the summer of '99, I, as did many, turned on the radio in my car, only to be caught off-guard by Santana's "Smooth". Now, allow me to make the mistake I normally do once again--I thought it was Matchbox 20. Yes, I know, no one in Matchbox 20 can play like that. However, I heard Rob Thomas' vocal, and I muttered to myself, "Another Matchbox 20 song." I proceeded to list in my head the 96 different reasons why I hate Matchbox 20--and, yes, there ARE at least 96, I hate the band that much. But moving on, I was caught off-guard by this particular tune, because, well... IT DIDN'T SUCK. Now, you.

Well I finally got around to writing this review; one I have been meaning to write for some time, but have not found the time to write. But I have found the time to listen to this CD over and over again. I have never been a Santana fan; that is to say, I have never felt the urge to own a Santana CD or album despite the fact I like some of his past musical achievements, and have listen to the Santana sound for years.
