I used to play this game all the time at a friend's house when I was a kid, so when I saw it on eBay for just a few bucks, I thought it would be fun to buy it and relive the memories. Indeed the memories came flooding back... but man, the game is a lot easier and shorter than I remembered! I turned it on and, on my first attempt, beat the game in about 40 minutes.
This isn't to say it's a BAD game--it's actually quite fun for what is it, and what do you expect from one of the earliest Gameboy games ever?--but if you're going to buy it, just bear in mind that it's a far simpler and more basic game than those you're probably used to.
This is a good original game for the Gameboy. You have to have quite a bit of time to play it though, because there is no save on it. I loved the music, very different. I didn't like how the creatures were so small, you could hardly jump on them. Overall it's a classic Mario game that you should play.
I bought this product because I had one of the older game boy systems that still was usable. My grandchildren are now visiting and although this game is an older version it still works well and is very toddler friendly. It does not contain violence and is just plain fun. Yes,they have other games that they have played but they loved to play Super Mario at Nana'a House because it is different. If you take into consideration the great price I think I got a real bargain. It can be played over and over again with a different outcome everytime.
This is a classic Game Boy game. It is simple and a lot of fun. It is great for children like many Nintendo games and presents a great challenge to complete. You can defeat the game and still have the desire to doo it again making it a great game to have as part of your Game Boy collection.
