t's a great game of the mario series and better than some of today's mario games. It's was game that was hacked but don't think it was a bad move for Nintendo to hack Doki Doki Panic. If your a mario fan get it its worth the money. If you see someone that say its terrible DO NOT BELIEVE THEM they're not telling the truth. If you can afford it buy it. It might even be worth buying a NES over if you can afford it. So buy it if you can its worth it.BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT...

This was one of my fave games growing up, mostly because it was so different and other-worldly than Super Mario Bros. I like how you can change characters and how each one has different abilities- Princess and her Mary Poppin-ness, Luigi thinks he's air Jordan, Toad is a little firecracker, and of course Mario is always the perfect balance of them all. Fun stuff! Who thought Nintendo could out-do themselves, but they did on the third, too!

My boyfriend lost his original game to one of my bad choices of a roommate a couple year ago. I still felt bad about it so went around lookin for it. I bought it for a very good price. He is very happy with his old but new-to-him game.

Great game. Mario 2 isn't actually a Mario game, its a japanesse game that the pasted mario and friends over the main characters. So don't expect to see any turtles or goombas!!

the game was very impressive. since they don't make game for Nes no more, I enjoy playing this game,including my kids. Iruly enjoy the super Mario 2 game. I wish they continue making this tyope od game. Thank you.

We ordered the Nintendo game 4-3-08 with an estimated arrival time between Apr-14 to Apr-24. We have not seen the package yet.

Best of the classic NES games. It doesn't follow the same game play as SMB 1 or 3. You have choices on character and don't fly or shoot fire. You throw bombs, dig in the sand and be the evil WART. Simply the best.

I love this game. I had it as a child, but lost it during college. I am so happy to have this game back!

i love to play supermario a lot. i play the game allweek. i love to play the game allday&allnight. i love to play game at anytime. i bought the game because i will play the game allweek.

I can play the game by myself. I don't have to wait for my turn.

Also the game is execlent for my son who has special needs. He can play the game and have the confidents that he is doing very well. He likes the colors of the screen and he has started to talk to Mario...This is the first time he has talked to something all by himself without having to be prompted over and over.
I just want to thank the company for making these systems. They are not always used for kids to just set in front of and for them not to want to do anything else....they are also a teaching tool and with games like this one my sosn has learned alot of hand eye cordination.

I got this game on the 13 of January. I paid immediately. I have yet to get my item and it is the 19th. I am very displeased with that. An item that I bought on the same day, has already been here for 3 days. This is not right and, I have asked for a refund on my shipping and handling fee.

Actually It's been so long since I ever played Mario 2 to remember whether if I liked it or not, but I'm totally disappointed that the game has never worked since purchased. It was bought as a christmas gift for my children. This game was part of a first time purchase so therefore I don't know how to go about getting this item replaced.

Hello!!!! This is like the top game of all times!!!! The trilogy is awesome and I got em all on ebay! I love ebay! But super mario 2 is like such a good game now that im older i beat it faster but still lol i havent beat it yet. im get there lol

It's a great game, lovely music, good game play, but it's a lie. It's not a Mario game. It's orginal game was "Yoki yoki madness" or something and nintendo simply changed the title and characters to make it bigger in the western world. Actully it's the 3th game in the saga.

But I can't go away from the fact it's a great game, which is fun to play. Value for your money.

I am an old friend of Mario, like so many of you others. I first met Mario on my Colecovision, in the original "Donkey Kong". After final victory here, I actually thought,"Wow, what about a game, about "Mario"? "Where did he come from, what's he about?" Leave it to the Nintendo corp. to answer my question, hence Super Mario Bros.

While racking my brain trying to get through to beat Bowser, I often wondered, "What if?".

What if I actually beat this game? Well, after days of play, I did. (With a little help from my friends.) Super Mario Bros. is in the past. (What happens now?)

A SEQUAL!!!!!

Super Mario 2 introduced new features to a game that was before, "un-heard-of".

A shadow world, having to have a chem bottle to get there, not to mention not knowing what you'll get once you're in there... this game was excellent for intrigue, and a real challenge to find the "warps".

In short, a definate must have, if you are to complete the Super Mario Bros. Trilogy for the original NES!

The particular game I bought on ebay was in excellent condition, and plays beautifully. The game itself isn't like Super Mario Brothers or Super Mario 3, both in storyline, characters, and actual gameplay. It is strictly a one player, unlike Super Mario and Super Mario 3, which some people may not enjoy. Super Mario 2 does allow movement forwards and backwards, so one can go to the start of the level if necessary. The storyline is that a new land is in trouble, taken over by King Wart (who hates veggies). As such, Mario and Luigi are joined by Princess Peach and Toadstool, and one can play as any of these 4 characters. The main weapon is vegetables, since none of the characters have mushrooms or level ups as in Super Mario or Super Mario 3. Each of the 4 also have their own unique abilities- Mario is a standard player, Luigi jumps the highest, Peach floats, and Toadstool is the fastest. I personally find this game to be my favorite of all the original Super Mario Brothers because it is so different from the others, and there are different enemies and bosses than in the other Mario Brother games.

This is a really interesting version of the Mario series, you can play 4 different characters all with their own unique ability. Its not cut and dry like previous versions and is guaranteed to keep you busy.

This game stands on its own in the line of mario bros. games. You can choose between Mario, Luigi, Toad, and princess, all with unique abilities. Also you get to pick up items to throw at your enemys or to open secrect doors. An all around good game.

i love the fact that my game worked well and was in great condition. i also love that it was a really good deal. i really love the super mario brothers and they are really hard to come by.

I gotta say, this was a crazy, wacky title. Not really the true "sequel" to the series, there was a Super Mario Brothers 1.5 if I can call it that, only released in Japan, later released as "The Lost Levels" in a package on the SNES, but enough of that.....

Typical 8 worlds, each with it's own sub levels (1-2,1-3,1-4, and so on) with Bosses on each and some crazy enemies. Not the normal style that Mario has been shown before or after this title. You get to choose more than just Mario or Lugia to play as, Princess Toadstool and the Mushroom Dude are also playable. Each with their own special ability, Luiga can jump super high, Princess can stay afloat for long periods of time, ect. With a crazy ending boss (It isn't Koopa for once) and other Bosses seen in the Mario cartoon (Hint hint)

This has lots of replay value and is Super Fun!

A different way of playing the Super Mario Bros series in which you can pick up items or foe to throw at enemies. The music is great. This game is definately different from Super Mario Bros 1 and 3, but it's very good overall. I recommend picking this one up if you like old school 2D platform game.

The game was in great condition. It was mailed in a timly manner. I bought it for my daughter's birthday.

As video games progress beyond our dreams and close to our hopes and expectations, I like to delve into some classic gaming provided by our friends at nintendo. It is a constant reminder of my childhood, and being more adept at gaming now, I enjoy conquering games that I simply could not grasp 15 years ago. For these reasons, ebay offers me a great oppertunity to obtain these games and re-live a part of my life that I missed so dearly. Thanx.

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!
