This is the best ever. If you like blues-rock, this is the one for you. We lost this one last year and HAD to get a new one. We listen to it all the time.
ALOT OF CONTRIBUTING "GO TO MUSICIANS"...MAINSTEAM...A COUPLE CATCHY TUNES HE EVENTUALLY EVOLVES, BUT THIS CD IS NOT THE ALL -MIGHTY TURNING POINT--BEST WORK, YET TO COME....

Blues Traveler's Hollow Attempt to Return to Their Roots

Pros: Two good songs...
Cons: Eleven either mediocre or just plain boring songs...
On one hand, I respect Blues Traveler. In the 1990 s they managed to bring blues-rock to the masses with a string of increasingly more credible (and popular) singles. Songs like But Anyway, Hook, and Run-Around proved that they were a valid and entertaining four-piece band. Though, with that said, they had to dig themselves out of the hole created by their mainstream success with their appropriately titled fourth album, 1994 s Four. Led by the jolly harmonica-man and singer John Popper and rounded out by guitarist Chan Kinchla, bassist Bobby Sheehan, and drummer Brendan Hill Blues Traveler s..

Best of all Blues Traveler CDs

Given that I own each and every one of Blues Travelers CDs, I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on their music. That said, I hope you take it to heart that this CD represents the band's best work yet. The CD kicks off strong with Carolina Blues and continues on to the well versed last track Make My Way. As always, the CD is comprised of a mixture of driving rock, ballads, and purely entertaining songs. Here are just a few highlights from the CD: Track 2 Felicia: a different kind of sound for BT, combines good music with a easy to follow story, nothing to heavy but some catchy lyrics.
