this is a feel good movie, with great family content of 2 strong religions, catholic and jewish, and the innocence of children with the sterotype by there parents... as time goes on families soften that we all children of god and religions may not be a one or nothing way to believe... it was funny, sad, deep and loved it, loved it, loved it... great cast of popular stars....
It's hard to find a family-friendly movie, with a good storyline...Stolen Summer breaks that mold...I really enjoyed it, touching story, great performances by well-known actors, all in all wonderful entertainment!
I saw the movie on direct tv and decided to purchase it for a gift. The movie is a wonderful story of two families with different religious faiths that will make you laugh and make you cry. The two young boys, who are Catholic and Jewish, become friends. The movie concentrates on the Catholic boy's determination to help the Jewish boy make it to heaven. It's hard to find movies like this today.
