Barry does a superb job on this CD. His voice in one in a million, there is no other voice like his on the Planet. He is at his best on this CD. I love it.

To me the sound of a mans voice is a real selling point. Peter Steele [Type O Negative], Vin Diesel, Christian Bale and Cole Hauser all top my list of hot voices . Now, before you fall off the chair in a fit of laughter, think about it. A guy walks up behind you, says something a little on the nasty side and you simply melt. Now, take that thought and put it to music and you have Barry White s Staying Power . I've been a fan of Barry White since I was 15 years old. Now, almost 13 years later, his music still has the power to move me. Staying power is, in my mind, a mild way to describe the gift that Barry White has. The Maestro is the master of his craft. And he's worked his magic once again in this CD. This CD has 11 tracks. And while some may think I'm blowing smoke, I have to say that all 11 tracks are wonderful. I don't know about you, but I can't think of too many CDs that I've heard that didn't have a few lame songs on it. Lou Bega's CD, Little Bit of Mambo, is a good example of that. But...

Barry White's latest cd "Staying Power" shows that he definitely still has staying power. I have been a fan of Barry's since the 1970's. His music and messages were and still are about love. Staying Power is one song to be listened to by men when they want to put women "in the mood". The entire cd is excellent listening music. The only downside is that it is only for slow dances; party music it is not. All tracks are message music.
