  Save the best for last.

Its an old saying but it does hold true. George Lucas certainly saved the best for the last installment in the prequel trilogy. While this new trilogy got off to a shaky start, it definitely gained momentum and exploded on to the screen with Revenge of the Sith. There was so much energy in this film, so much emotion, and so much intensity, most people will say the entire prequel trilogy was well worth watching to see it play out. This movie was absolutely fantastic.
Every Star Wars wanted this movie, and they got it. But knowing how it would turn out, didn't change a viewer wanting to see Anakin prevail and overthrough the Sith influence. A good movie such as this, draws the audience in and makes us sympathize with the characters. We all wish for the best but know that it will all go horribly wrong. Yet, when all is done, we all still have Hope.

What can I say? I loved this movie. The only drawback was the horrible dialogue between Anakin and Padme'. However, the story was brilliant, the action was even better and the effects were first rate! I still remember seeing the original Star Wars (Episode IV) in the theaters, and I got the same feeling about this movie that I got with that one.

Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith: George Lucas Finally Gets It Right, Sort Of
Review created: 05/19/05

Pros:
good balance to the film, more coherent story, Ian McDiarmid

Cons:
wooden acting, inconsistencies, why the hell does a droid cough?

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Well, okay, it was almost thirty years ago in a suburb of New York City that a girl finally got to see the movie that everyone was talking about at the local $1.50 movie theater. That movie was Star Wars and the girl was me. I was so blown away that I went back the next night, and the night after that, and the night after that... I saw it seven times in a row over the summer. Never before had I seen anything like it. Since I don t want to spoil the film, I ll discuss some general issues first and then put specific plot discussions further down with.

Star Wars Episode III is one big family reunion.

Pros:
The climactic lightsaber battle scene against Anakin and Obi-Wan is awesome.

Cons:
A few weak acting scenes between lead characters.

Star Wars Episode III, Revenge of the Sith opened May 19, 2005 with early reviews giving this film more publicity than all of the force in hyperspace. While I consider myself a Star Wars fan, I'm not one of those hardcore fans that were willing to wait 10 hours in a line that wrapped around the theater for the 12:00 midnight viewing. Instead, like many I waited for the first weekend so I could make it a family affair to view this state of the art masterpiece. Star Wars Episode III, Revenge of the Sith is really like one big family reunion were all the key characters that spawned Luke and Leia.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith (2005) -- Who could have done this?

Pros:
Spectacular visuals, Anakin and Padme finally get real, ungodly lightsaber battles!

Cons:
Sheeeeeeit.

It's hard to remember specific details. People gathered in clusters of five or six, a rock radio station was camped out right outside the movie theater, playing "Heavy" by Collective Soul. It was 11:25 at night. Oh yeah, and it was raining. After a 15-minute wait at the concession stand that for whatever reason flew by, I found myself amidst a sea of taken seats. Finally, I found one next to this cute girl who was reading a book and seemed to only be there at the request of her boyfriend. This fat guy who was sitting right in the middle suddenly shouted, "20 minutes... until Star Wars!" and...

George Lucas And His Temple Of Doom
Review created: 06/11/05

Pros:
McGregor, McDiarmid, Christensen, good action sequences and supporting performances

Cons:
Some story lines not adequately answered

When George Lucas introduced the "Star Wars" series, I was still in high school. During the time of the first three releases in the series, I heard the buzz that a lot of people heard. Lucas was going to make his franchise a series of nine films. Three were going to be set in the generation before the first three "Star Wars" releases. Three were going to be set in the generation after "Star Wars." It is almost certain we will never see the final three proposed episodes, but the prequels were not nearly as entertaining as the middle chapters. Since Lucas has said that the third prequel was...

An Excellent Film This Is. Neeheeheeheeheeheeee....

Pros:
Cast (Christensen particularly), SFX, plot<BR/>

Cons:
A couple of logic and continuity problems

Star Wars: A New Hope (Episode 4) started it all off, with Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, rogue mercenary Hans Solo, and of course Chewbacca (a Wookie) saving the galaxy from the evil Darth Vader. In The Empire Strikes Back sees Darth up to his old tricks of trying to conquer the universe, and again the foursome stop it. It turns out the Vader is Luke's Daddy, but he doesn't always seem to be trying to be a good daddy... Return of the Jedi sees Carrie Fisheer (Princess Leia) dressed in a rather skimpy outfit having been sold as a slave to Jabba the Hutt, a huge slug-like creature, while Luke..
