Star Wars Battlefront II (Xbox)

The follow-up to the highly successful Battlefronts, this edition carries a few extras. There are additional maps and the addition of the "hero and villain" character allowing the player to play as such Star Wars staples as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda and more. The addition of space warfare allows even further hours of play. The AI can be stepped up and there are variants to allow free-style play or storyline. Overall a great game with few glitches.

my son had to have it. he loves starwars battlefront 2. we have one for playstation 2 and xbox. he plays it with his friends all the time.

If your a Star wars fan, then this game is a must buy. Multiplayer is fun to play and they added the ability to play as Jedi. Single player campain is fun too. You can buy this pretty inexpensive too.

The fact that you can play as any character jedi and all is more than worth it.
This has quickly become my son's favorite game (age 8). Only downside is that he lost interest in all the other games we have.

I think this is a game without a weakness. Buy it if you are an online fan or a star wars fan. The campaign mode is pretty great too & it has options like 1st or 3rd person, difficults & friendly fire on/off.

The graphics are just incredible. Perfect for kids 5 and older (like me,42)LOL. My two sons love to play the game since they know all the characters!

You can buy it for your kids with no worries.

the game is very fun to play its one of those you can play it for days and it never gets old, i do dislike that you cant fly different ships like some of the more iconic ones that we know and love from the star wars movies but i think eveyone should at least play this game once.

I think that this game is great. Some of my favorite planets are: Kamino, Geonosis, and Felucia. I bought this game because my friend said that it was a really fun game; and it is! I would highly recommend this game to any xbox fan.

Great game. Me and my wife love it. Plays great on out Xbox 360.

We got bored with Battlefront 1, and we searched all over town for Battlefront II.

We loved the simplicity of the origional. And this one is only slightly more complicated. But still easy enough for a non-gamer to get into.

Other shooter games are a lot more complicated, and do not allow for multiple AI characters. Way too many games are dependant on other players, or Xbox Live. Out of the dozens of games we have, Battlefront and Battlefront II are the only games that allow for this.

great game 1st for gen Xbox if you never played you should!!! Lots of action My kids love it i can't get near it!!

This is a really cool fight simulator and is true to the Star Wars theme.

Excellent shooter game, can't wait to see what they do with Battlefront 3. I will own it for life. The graphics for the time where appropiate and still today. Multi player and online capabilities is a plus. Whish they would continue to update the maps and characters.

This game is hours of fun for any group of people, or even single player, me and my Fiance love to play this on rainy days, or just to relax.

Star Wars Battlefront II (for Xbox). It's a really fun game for ONLINE (XboxLive) play. But it plays MUCH better on PC version (even with the "update" for XBOX360). My opinion - for original XBOX players, its good for head-to-head play. For Xbox 360 players, get it for PC instead (if you have a capable PC), or wait for SWBF3 Xbox360 (you just KNOW that LucasArts is gonna make it)!

My children love the game. I have to pull them away from it. They like being able to be all the different characters in the game. I highly suggest anyone who likes star wars games to give it a try!

This game just keeps going and Going, and Going... No, wait that's the bunny thing.
This Game keeps my gamer 5 year old busy for hours when he should be outside throwing rocks threw windows or some of the other things boys do.

My son wanted this game and we looked around at some different places and they were either too expensive new or couldn't find them available at the video resale shop's which isn't suprising because it is a good game which they don't trade as often. We found it online for a very reasonable price and it was the Live Online Enabled version which was an added bonus. This game is now one of my son's favorite.

I hadn't played it when it first came out. Overall it is very entertaining despite being slightly more simple to play than nowaday games like Halo or Gears of War--which is maybe to its advantage, especially for people who are not 24-7 hardcore gamers. Perhaps best is the option of playing as any one of 4 "civilzations" [Republic, Trade Federation, Rebels or Empire] with all the appropriate characters for each, and doing so in any of galaxy-conquest mode, follow-the-plot mode, or online versus other players. It is a game worth trying, at the very least.

I really like the game. It has great graphics and all the new characters. This is one of my favorite games of the Xbox series.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first Star Wars Battlefront game, but this version is much better. The worlds are more interesting, the galactic conquest mode is more complicated, and the bonuses add more variety to the game. However, the old version was better in some ways. The AI was much harder to beat in the first version, and so presented more of a challenge.

All in all, a great game.
