I had purchased a drop spindle off Ebay,and while it came with directions,my being a left hander & right brained demanded that I needed illustrations (and lots of them!) to understand how to use a drop spindle. This guide is magnificent-it takes you step by step thru the simple process of spinning yarn by hand,(with lots of clear,color photos)shows you how to make your own drop spindle,covers using a bottom whorl as well as a top whorl,and also teaches you the spinners lingo in ways that you'll remember. A most excellent primer,the author even gives simple knitting patterns that you can use to make items with your freshly made stock!
She shows how to prepare your newly made yarn for knitting or crocheting,how to make a center pull ball of yarn,teach you about making your own skeins,the works. Printed on high quality glossy paper. You gotta have this book!

I use to laugh when more mature people would talk about how they would spend time searching for sales. Now I find myself doing the same thing. Most of the clothes, furs, and even the best facial cleaners are now bought on ebay. I bought two dresses one a Liz Claborne and the other a real nice Teal color.
They were perfect. I was also able to get a spinning wheel (best offer), that I had wanted for a long time but couldn't afford the $6 to 700 price tag. These three items were shipped fast and were exactly as described. I tried another auction but it was nothing compare to the items I bid on and get from ebay. There is nothing I didn't like about the dresses or my spinning wheel. I loved them and will continue to use ebay for whatever I might need. In fact, when I see or need something, the first place I go to is ebay. I am happy to report that 9 out of 10 times it is there at a price I can afford. Thanks, I don't know what I would do without EBAY!
