WELL, I RECEIVED THE PACKAGE IN A TIMELY MANNER, BUT WHEN I RECEIVED IT AND TRIED TO PLUG IT IN TO PLAY A GAME, THE PLACE WHERE YOU WOULD INSERT YOUR GAME DISK WAS BROKEN. I NOTIFIED THE SELLER, AND WELL HE SAID IT WAS DAMAGED ON DELIVERY. WHEN I WENT TO A LOCAL GAMING SHOP TO ASK WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, THEY NOTIFIED ME THAT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THIS TO HAVE HAPPENED UPON SHIPMENT AND THAT THE ITEM WAS PREVIOUSLY BROKEN. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DECIDED TO SEND IT BACK TO THE SELLER ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR SENDING IT BACK TO HIM! I HAD ALREADY PAID $96.99 FOR THE CONSOLE INCLUDING SHIPPING, AND TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING WOULD MEAN AN ADDITIONAL $30! DOING THE MATH, THIS WOULD COME OUT TO $126.99! I DECIDED THAT I'D RATHER TOSS THE CONSOLE IN THE GARBAGE AND COUNT MY LOSSES, RATHER THAN PAYING MORE! TO TOP IT OFF, THE SELLER MADE DOUBLE THE MONEY OFF OF ME, HE MADE THE $$ HE INITIALLY CHARGED FOR THE ITEM, AND THE CHECK UPS SENT HIM BACK FOR THE DAMAGED ITEM! SO ALL IN ALL IT WORKED OUT FOR THE BEST FOR THE SELLER, WOULDN'T YOU THINK!?

I can play GT4 with it. Enough said. GT4 is like boot up, awesome, vrooooooommm, VROOOOOOM-VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM-VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM,brakes!, corner, hoooooowwwllll! That's pretty much how it is.

I bought a playstation 2, it works great item just as described. The only problem was the shipping and the lack of communication. The auction did state usually ships in 10 day after payment is received. I paid for the playstation the same night I bought it and the seller still didn't send it until 12 days after receiving payment. I waited more than two weeks to get it. My emails were never fully answered and it took him days to get back to me.

Great item for the kids to spend some time learning hand eye coordination when the weather is no good outside. Highly recommend. And for the price....hard to say no.

this purchase of my it was totaly wrong. it was my first purchase and i regret it. it is the first and the last wrong i make.i did't messioned that is in ammerican format and can not plug in in europe format. ferthermore i didn't mensioned that it is ps2 but it don't play ps2 games!!!!!!!!!

The 3 PS2 fat consoles that I have purchased used have all quit working very shortly after I bought them (used) I was trying to get my grandchildren one apiece so they wouldn't fight over just one. Bad mistake.

Sometimes it takes a few times before a game will work in it. But most of the time it works fine. I thought that it was a fair price for a used system and I really just wanted it as a back up system when the kids are playing on the other game systems.

it was garbage not good at all its to old to dirty the seller did not tell he describe something its not what he have for sell

This thick PS2 model is an outdated model nowadays and the PS2 thin model is more preferred than this bulky model. When the transactions of out dated models like these happen through websites like eBay, it is tough to be completely satisfied with the quality of items you get. The models usually come with a huge load of games which the seller previously would have used with the console and is always second hand/used.

A decent rate would be $100 with some 7 t0 10 games included. the shipping charges that the seller would add to it is additional and that would be around $20. The item when i bought it was around the same rates as above and came with 13 games. but at the present age when the new console costs only $120 in a store and the games well available for 1 dollar on eBay, this really feels like a wasted effort...

At the end i would say though i feel good using my PS2 i felt bad when i compared it with a "new" slim one.

If i was given a second chance I would be standing in a store to buy a new PS2 rather than bidding on eBay.

Decided to buy the Playstation 2 for my daughter and was really impressed with the fact that it is quite easy for her to operate. She is only 9 years old.
I also like the fact that we don't have the trouble with all the "not able to read disc" problems.

Real good buy and would definitely recommend.

Item was very well described in auction, super fast shipping, item was within the price range I was willing to pay for the item, all around great ebayer, so great Im at a loss for words, :P. Although the older PS2 is bulky...the price is right. It still plays all the new games (including GUITAR HERO!) and used there less than $100.
