I would write a review for this item but as of todays date I still have not received this item. I wrote the seller after the fourth day and then he wrote back stating that I would have this item on friday but I did not receive this item on friday. Now its 4 days past friday and still no answer or item. I will never buy anything ever in my life from this seller again. Buyers beware of sellers such as this.

Nice slim design, very cool new color and what a package deal! Recieved a game console, a Daxter Game a family guy video and a gig memory card!! All in all Im a very happy camper!!

First of all...i think that the new slim psp is too small for people with big hands...ive been playing with the psp slim for about 3 hours and its way to small and my fingers feel cramped up together at times...

compared to the old bigger psp...the new one is quite flawed
1.The UMD tray on the slim looks like it can fall apart faster because the brace is gone
2.The volume on the slim isn't as loud
3. Just plain feels as if it was just going to break at times

The good thing about it is that the new slim psp
1. The screen is much clearer
2. Loading times are faster
3. Can connect to the tv
4. Internets a bit faster

Although it lacks a lot of things compared to the older model...i think the new slim still pulls it weight on functionality...

I bought this for my son. I didn't get Daxter but we did get Star Wars edition. I'm just as sure that all of them are great, depending on your favorite! I bought him a 2gb memory stick with it and a USB cord. Now he would like the grips and a case...so that is coming next. Then I'm sure he'll find more add ons. We've put songs, movies, audiobooks on it and what he likes most is that he can SURF THE WEB!!! That is my favorite part!!! :) He is homeschooled so he can do a lot of his reading right on his PSP and listen to music at the same time. Hey as long as his grades are good - I don't mind. I have an 80 GB IPOD and for the money and the fact that it surfs the web - I may have bought myself a psp instead! However the ipod is smaller and easier to put in your pocket etc... but in comparison - the features of the PSP are EXCELLENT! If you are considering whether to get you or your child one or the other look at the features and discuss them with your child. We've been able to do as much websurfing on the psp as on his laptop computer and we do a lot of research for his school subjects. I would suggest warranties and service plans because you never know...square trade has those now - so consider looking for a buyer that offers that or something similar.

This pak by itself is a great purchase. You get a Silver PSP-2001, AC Adapter, USB mini A cable, The Family Guy UMD, and also Daxter.

The advantages of having a slim over a PSP-1001 (affectionity know as PSP Fat) is that you are able to charge the PSP battery by simply hooking up the USB cable to the device.

Another useful feature is that recently (as in the beginning of 2008), you are able to use Skype with your PSP which is the first native messaging system for the device that I know of (Dont work AFKIM, I know you were the first of any but Skype is the first released by Sony, that works on an unmodified PSP).

If you are looking to hack your PSP, there comes a warning. If you do you are hurting the PSP industry 2 ways. First of all is the simple fact that most if not all people who hack their PSP are not buying games. Secondly it is very easy to "brick" - make the device unusable by corrupting the flash BIOS. Take care if this is your intent for the device.

I would recommend this device to everyone I know as it can serve as an MP3 player, movie player, portable video game device and even web browser.

I decided to purchase this PSP for my son on the request of my husband. Our son wanted one for christmas but didn't tell anyone so we suprised him because he has made the honor roll every quarter this year. He loves his PSP and when ever the weather is bad and he can't go outside to play he is playing with it. This was by far the best thing we have ever gotten our son as a gift.

This system is amazing! The user interface is very easy to use, and the game graphics are stunning for such a small system. Excellent Handheld. Incredible WIFI RECEPTION. Battery and screen are excellent as well. Can find lots of cool stuff. Very shocking and attractive color. I decide to buy the Sony PSP Daxter Entertainment Pack because it is a limited edition and right now is not available in retail stores. The special thing of this pack is the silver color of PSP Slim and the fact that the pack also brings The Daxter Game and an 1GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo. Their respectively retail price are $25 for the game and $45 for the memory (in Puerto Rico). Hey!! don't forget about The Family Guy Movie
