Have used the Sony Handycam DCR TRV520 both on land and underwater (used in a underwater dive case) and find this handycam both excelent for the job. The pictures are sharp, clear, and the movement stabilization I find great for some of my underwater movies. It might be old but does out do some of the smaller and newer handycams out there.

I have 2 others like this camara but this one does NOT work !!! I am not happy with this camara !!! It will cost me as much to fix it as it did to buy it :(

had an earlier model of the camcorder and it was a real workhorse that lasted about 7 years. did much videoing and downloading/editing for videos.
this was newer and had a bit more features and i needed something to view and download many previously recorded videos....
