Everything you want in a Zoom lens except for the noise
It works great - perfect for the Safari shots. My only complaint is the AF is a bit noisy, but I understand this is typical of this size telephoto lens.

75-300 ReviewLight weight and good quality image lens for the money in my opinion. A little slow on the auto-focus, but acceptable. Perfect for my backyard bird photos.

Great Lens. This is a must item!!Extremely nice addition to my Sony camera. Smooth action on barrel, very fast focus and not too heavy. This has an almost natural feel on the camera, Sony Alpha 100, and makes a good choice for outdoor shooting.

Sony Lense for a Sony A100 DSLR CameraSONY Lense for my SONY A100 DSLR Camera.
I am a stickler for clear and concise focus when I take pictures.
This is achieved quite easily with a SONY Lense.
The action and smooth operation of the lense make it a great compliment to the A100 body. I am even impressed with the AUTO focus and the depth of field. You point and set the trigger on the object you want to focus on...near or far. Then fully depress the trigger, and you capture what you want.
Would rate this lense a 5 out of 5 in it's class.
