Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis)

The quality of the game is still as great as it was when i was younger, the coloring was a lil off but i do not know why exactly. other than that great game if you are into classics

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is almost the same as the original Sonic the Hedgehog except a new character, Tails, is there to help you for double the fun!!!! It doesn’t have good replay value, but it’s worth it for the money. I give it a 5 out of 5!!!


My Rating Scale:

1- This is an absolutely horrible game!!! No one should ever purchase this game no matter how tempting the game box looks.

2- This game is not horrible but needs work and has serious design flaws. Not recommended for purchase.

3- This game is your average game. The graphics aren’t anything to be shocked about and expect a bad storyline and very little replay value. Purchase at your own risk!!!

4- This is an above average game and has good replay value and graphics are above average. It still may have design flaws, but they are small and easily tolerable.

5- This is a very rare game that has beautiful graphics, absolute replay value, and usually was a big budget video game usually made by Nintendo or Sony. Players should buy this game no matter what their genre. A++++

My Favorite of the Sonic Games, Tails is fun in the one, he flies with his tail, very cool! Great for Kids!

What a great sequel to the first. Very fun to play. Two player mode can be addictive. Would make a great addition to any game library.

For those who were younger kids during the 16bit era and had a Sega, I'm sure you remember the absolute joy that came from this game. In most cases in my opinion, the first game in a series of games is usually the best. This rule doesn't apply to the Sonic series though. Sonic 2, in my opinion was one of the best sonic games ever released, and a great game to sit down with and recall your childhood.

This is one part of the worlds most famous series of videogames - "Sonic The Hedgehog". It is the most discussed title of the whole series ever. In this part, Miles "Tails" Prower, a small yelowish fox appears in the game for the first time, as a companion of Sonic. Also a new move - the "Super sonic spin dash" [performed by pressing Down+A(B or C) on the joypad] was added to Sonic's moves. In my opinion, this isn't the best of the whole series (the "Sonic and Knuckles" is), but in the time when it got out, it was a breakthrough. I love the fact that you can play this game many times and not get bored with it. I decided to buy it because I used to have it when I was younger but gave it away. So I decided now to get another one and I am glad that I did.

The game is very good. It works great for how old it is. The color and graphic are just as good as when it was brand new. My only problem is with two players game locks up occanicanly, but this could caused by the sega system and not the game.

This was one of my favorite old school video game,so I brought it for me and my kids,and they love it too.This game brings me back memories I'm glad the classic is back!

the game is awesome from the first moment to the last. If you search for the cheatsonline and figure out how to turn into super sonic it is even better. Out of five stars it is a definate six and probably the best sega genesis game that I have played so far

Playing old school video games is both fun nostalgic. So I turn to ebay. Sonic the hedgehog 2 was one of the coolest Genesis game ever created. So naturally I found it on ebay.

I know that sequels are usually not as good as the original but man, this game just went completley downhill. I mean it's virtually the same game but with a reddish/orange Sonic following you around....just buy the original Sonic and save your money on this one. 1 outta 5 stars....I think I like Duck Hunt better than this game. Disappointing!!!

Now growing up this was my favorite sonic. This game was an instant classic like the first Sonic. Whats rare is this is an amazing follow up to a great game, something that seems to have been lost though the years as sequals arent as good as the original now. This game is challenging but it can be beatin in a few hours. I love the inclusion of Tails and there are some mini games in this sonic. You can race the level against a friend. I would give this a 10/10 any day of the week.

Sonic 2 is an extremely challenging Sega Genesis game that will keep you entertained for hours. There are many levels of complexity and captivation gauranteed to boggle your mind.

I bought this game cartridge to replace one we used to have years ago. My grandson is now using the game system my grown son used at the same age. He is thrilled that we found a replacement. Sonic is always a favorite!

Hooked up the Genesis today and spent a few hours playing this one. I left my 7 year old son and I could hear him laughing at this game. He liked the original Sonic but preferred this game more - this is why this one has a higher rating!
