If u like Def Leppard then u will like this album. I have only listened to a few times and still have to get used to it. They keep surprising me on every album and that is possibly a good thing. I mean u dont want to listen to album after album of the same songs. I have always liked them and their music whether other people said they are all washed up.
This new release sounds as if it was released in 1988. Back to the classic Def Leppard we all know and love. Tim Mcgraw's addition to Nine Lives has no bearing on the CD, you wouldn't even know it was him if it wasn't the 1st single and video released off the album. Check out C'mon C'mon (my personal favorite track) Reminds me of a combination of Rocket and Mas Tequilla from Sammy Hagar. 4-1/2 out of 5. Great job guys.
I guess I'm biased. I've been a Def Leppard fan for 25 years. I've seen them grow and mature and overcome some really tough obstacles. I think the Sparkle Lounge is their best since the Pyromania/Hysteria days.
Who else but Def Leppard put out a record with one of the hottest country singer's ever!!! No the are not selling out for more sales. I'm a big fan of Tim McGraw I think you will be surprised on how well Joe's vocal's and Tim's vocal's work on nine lives. The only thing I have to say is buy the album and judge for yourself that ROCK IS BACK!
GREAT DEF LEPPARD ALBUM THEY ARE BACK TO THERE ROOTS AND IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING FROM HYSTERIA WITH A TOUCH OF HIGH AND DRY ! IT IS THERE BEST ALBUM SINCE HYSTERIA WITHOUT A DOUBT! IF YOU DONT HAVE IT GET IT ! AMAZING ALBUM THAT WILL NEVER WEAR OUT !
