After buying a few (somewhat) different versions of that album over the years, the first being the actual 33rpm, I must say that this Deluxe Edition is the most satisfying, both for sound quality, content and packaging.
Some of the extra songs on cd 2 are from the mini-album "Mother's Talk" that I have never seen issued on cd. Being a big fan of TFF, I couldn't let this superb double-cd set pass by: I just HAD to buy it. The remastering brings out all the layers of sound and it sounds just as good as the best from today, with a little dose of "analog" warmth on some of the outtakes.
"Songs from the Big Chair: Deluxe Edition" is a must for fans of Tears for Fears. Let's hope the other releases from this groundbreaking 80's group receive the same treatment.
