This is my all time favorite movie! I can watch it over and over again! There are so many funny parts and a whole string of well known stars. A must for every home! As a busy mom and wife I could relate to Julia Roberts and I fell in love all over again with Dennis Quaid when he danced with Julia towards the end of the movie! It is just a feel good movie!

If you enjoy horses and farm life, this is a movie for you. Julie Roberts does a fantastick job as usual in this film. Lovely scenery plus meaningful plot. Actually this is my second copy of this movie. I wore the first one out!!!!

This story had humor, and a good story line, good charcters. Krya was so funny in this one. I remember seeing it at the movies, but wanted to see it again.

It's a really good movie, I just wish there wasn't so much cursing. It would be great without it since it is a great story.

Pros:
Fun, Humorous,Real

Cons:

I am BIG on Julia, so I see all of her movies, and own at least half. This movie was a great flick. It is about what we all may actually go through one day, or have already gone through before. Roberts and Dennis Quaid are a married couple with a young daughter and they are very successful. At least in every way except their marriage, which is rolling along quite robotically- to a point that they hardly even notice each other! Roberts is the stable manager for her Dad's(Robert Duvall!)beautiful ranch and her sister(Kyra Sedgwick) is hilarious in this movie, I loved her! She has some of the...

  Julia Roberts does it again

Pros:
Funny movie

Cons:
none

This time Julia Roberts plays a married woman who discovers her husband is a cheating lowlife, (Pardon the editorial comment). Upon making this discovery Grace, returns to her family home, where it appears everyone sides with the lowlife. In my opinion, this movie compares favorably with "Steel Magnolia's". I enjoyed it as much as I did "First Wives Club" and "Fried Green Tomatoes." Robert Duvall as Grace's father reminds her that he is in a tight business deal with Lowlife. It is awkward for them to have Grace behaving as she is toward him. Besides their daughter does not deserve to be...

  Something to See
Review created: 09/08/00

Pros:
Roberts, Quaid, Duval, and the entire cast, and a brilliant script

Cons:
none

I first watched Something To Talk About after over a year of longing to see it, but never getting around to it. Now that I have seen this movie, I am thrilled that I did, and am ready to watch it again...and again!!! This is one of those rare movies that can have you crying one minute, and laughing the next. Full of realistic family and relationship issues, as well as one liners that anyone can agree with and find hilarious, I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I liked this movie. Dennis Quaid and Julia Roberts are magnificent as a couple that has fallen off track, trying to figure...
