Great movie. Julia Roberts is fantastic in this movie. The scenes have language, not for children, but very good, very funny. This movie is priceless. i found it online and had to buy it because it wasn't in the stores. Recommend it and Love it!!!!!

Bought this as a gift for my wife for valentine's day it's one of her favorites & I don't mind watching it with her. Just the right mixture of drama & comedy, as not to be a total chick flick! Good performances by Julia Roberts, Denis Quaid, Kira Sedgwick, Robert Duval & Gina Rowlands.

Excellent TitleEveryone in this film was excellent, this film has truth, character, surprises, the horses were even the best. This was a very enjoyable movie to watch and of course Dennis Quaid what a hunk and Julia only the BEST

Something to talk about (DVD)I bought this DVD for my wife for Christmas. She has been looking in local stores for the DVD, but ti no avail. Fortunately, there's always eBay to help find that item that you have a hard time finding. The item was New and unopened and I used it as a stocking stuffer. My wife played the DVD Christmas Day.

Something to Talk About (1999, DVD)Wonderful and enjoyable movie about love, honor, right and wrong. Includes horses, which I always love to watch in a movie. Robert Duvall, Julia Roberts, Dennis Quaid give star performances set in southern country estate setting. No sex,violence or bad language.

Bought this for my husband, who said it was good. I haven't warch it yet however. Romantic I am told, but I have to be in a Romantic mood to watch these type movies.

I ADORE this movie!There isn't anything in this that was earth shattering or incredible performances. It was just a good Sunday Afternoon flick, I own this one and forgot how much I enjoyed it until my Daughter and I pulled it off the shelf.
Julia Roberts does a believable job as a woman who has found out that her husband has screwed around on her. What I liked most about this movie was allll of the secondary characters... Kyra was the PERFECT Older sister looking out for her younger one, Gena was Great as the Southern Belle Mama, the Aunt (don't know this woman's name)was HILARIOUS as the "little" crazy Aunt that would/could go there. You really have to pay attention to this movie there are so many innuendos and funny moments that I truly can recommend this one. The actress that played the daughter was wonderful and last but not least Dennis Quaid did quite a convincing job as a contrite husband (once he was caught).
If you want something along this plot line I would also suggest "Hope Floats" which also stars Gena Rowlands and has pretty much the same subject matter but not the same movie. Enjoy.
